SmallTV Pro User Manual V3.2.12EN
In this manual, we will show you how to use it with a few short questions, some simple uses will not be introduced here, please email us if you have any questions.

Hardware & Power?

• Product Size: 45mm x 35mm x 40mm

• Screen : 1.54 inch 240x240px tft IPS display

• CPU: ESP32

• Power supply: 5V DC with 1A and up. Voltage should not over 5V which may cause damage.
  Touch Button: Touch sensor.

• No battery inside.

2. How to control?

Tips: When power on, keep the device in steady situation, the touch sensor on top will auto initial it’s status, don’t put your fingers on the top of it, or the button will not work properly.

Control

• short press: switch to next screen.
• long press: enter into app or exit from app.

How to connect to internet?

1. The first time you power it on, it will connect failed and enter into AP mode, there will be a hotspot “SmallTV PRO” with empty password.
2. Open your phone or pc, connect to the hotspot, then open your web broswer, and visit http://192.168.4.1/ (Other internet is not available now)
3. Click the “Network” on the webpage, you could choose “Scan” or input manually to save the WiFi info.
4. After WiFi info is saved, it will reboot to connect, there will be messages show on the screen.
5. Once the connect is success, the “SmallTV PRO” hotspot will be closed, then how we could change the setting again?
   Now you could observe the screen when power on, there will be a new IP address, or you could open the “Settings” app, and check the IP address, like what we do in 3.2, now visit the new IP address.(Make sure you connect to the same WiFi, the PRO device connected.)

How to set city code in weather?

After internet is connected, and now we are able to visit the webpage with a new IP address.
Click the “Weather” table.

How to find your city code?
The weather info is synced from this website https://openweathermap.org/find take “Seoul, KR” for example:

Click the results, this will lead you to the weather details of Seoul, KR.

the tail number of the link address https://openweathermap.org/city/1835848,1835848 (only number) is the city code of Seoul,KR. Then we copy this number, pasted in the below section, and click “save” to make it effective.

Copy the code and save it.
The weather will be updated in later seconds once saved.

Need I change the API key?
Change it if you know what API key is, it could be more stable and will the possible of higher update rate.
But do not change the API key if you haven’t got one or don’t know what the API key means.

How to set US stock code?

The stock data comes from yahoo.com.
You could set stock code like this, AAPL for Apple.Inc

How to set cryptocurrency code?

The cryptocurrency data comes from api.binance.com.
The coin symbols need to be set again when you upgrade from old firmware version.

How to upload images?

• The “Picture” app support file format jpg/jpeg/JPG/JPEG, gif/GIF.
• Image file max size is 240x240px.
• GIF files need to be cropped or resized manually, ezgif.com is highly recommened for this.
• JPG files could be croped when upload.
• And the gif in the weather app cloud also be customised, size is 80x80px.

FAQs

The screen flickering?

Try change another usb cable or power adapter, more likely related to unstable power supply.

Can't connect to my router?

Make sure it's 2.4G hotspot, double check the SSID and the password is correct. If it's a WIFI6 2.4G network, especially it's ASUS WIFI6 routers, there maybe compatible issues. Method 1, close the 802.11ax options which will close WIFI6 features. Method 2, create a guest 2.4G hotspot without 802.11ax options, and connect the gadget to this AP. Method 3, contact online help from us.

Where and how to update firmware?

A: There will be update info in the item description when there's a updated version, please follow our store to get notification. New firmware and instructions could be sent via email.
