Open the upper part with a suitable screwdriver to expose the battery compartment. Insert 3x 1,5V AA in the correct polarity (as indicated by the + and – symbols). The batteries are not included in the product packaging.

The power switch is located at the product bottom. Move the switcht for one space to turn the CRABBIE on, and switch two spaces to turn on the product’s music function. The power switch is indicated by number 1 in the bottom figure and the music switch ba the number 2.

After switching CRABBIE on, it will automatically start moving to avoid obstacles. There are two movement sensors located on both claws of the toy. If your CRABBIE does not start moving immediately, simply place and object or wave your hand in front of the sensor.
