Installation Instructions.
Care and maintenance
For the best results, we recommend applying a protective finish to the panels, such as wood oil, to protect the natural look and feel of the wood. This also makes cleaning and maintenance easier. Dust or vacuum the panels regularly to prevent any dust buildup. If a protective finish is not applied, the panels can be cleaned with a dry cloth.
Fire rating.
The panels can be fire-rated with a felt backing upon request, but the face materials are not fire-rated. If you require a fire-rated option, please reach out to us for more information.

How to cut wall Slat
For the best results, we recommend using a sharp saw to cut through the slats and felt widthwise. If you need to make lengthwise cuts, a craft knife can be used to cut through the felt.
How to install wall Slat
There are three options for installing the wall slats:
-
Gluing Straight to Wall:
For this option, you’ll need a construction glue or grab adhesive -
Screwing directly into wall:
Use black screws for the black backing option or silver/grey screws for the grey backing. The panels can be screwed directly into the wall through the acoustic felt. We recommend a minimum of 9 screws per panel, spaced 3.15 inches apart across the width and 24 inches apart down the length of the panel. When installing on the ceiling, make sure to screw into ceiling joists. For installations in plasterboard, be sure to use the correct fixings. -
Screwing into 2” timber battens: For optimum sound absorption, screw 2-inch timber battens to the wall and then screw the panels directly into the battens through the acoustic felt. When combined with Rockwool sound insulation
behind the panels, this will achieve Class A sound absorption
