Step 1

Screw the wooden slats forming the centre of the chair with screw (B) in barrel nut (C).
Make sure that the narrower side of the bent rule is on top (the 24 cm side).
This also applies to the front slat. Make sure that the (31.7 cm) is facing the curved slats.
Before tightening the screws, don’t forget the dowels (E).
these wooden sticks must be placed in the front centre slatas shown in the picture to your right.
Step 2

Check to make sure that everything fits properly. You should not see any space between the parts side parts and centre pieces.
If you do, you can tighten screw (B) a little more.
The base of the chair is now assembled and should look like the drawing on the right. On the next page we will walk you through the assembly of the cushions.

Step 3

Place the two knee cushions on the two dowels which are already protruding from the frame.When assembling the knee cushions, make sure the rounded side of the cushions is facing forward. Then tighty screw the cushions onto the frame by using one screw (screw A) per cushion.

Step 4

When assembling the seat cushion, it is also important that the rounded side of the seat is facing forward.
First, start by placing the seat with the rounded side forward on the two dowels that stick out of the frame and screw the seat tightly onto the frame with four screws (A).
Note: all screws fit into the holes which allows you to easily assemble the seat onto the frame. If this is not the case, please check again whether you have put everything together correctly.

Step 5
When everything is assembled properly, you can carefully test the chair.
The kneeling chair can be used in several ways. The most common way is to sit on it with your knees on the knee pillows (as shown in the picture below). Another way to use the chair is to turn it around completely and use it as a wedge stool.
