Loading the Film Cartridge
- Open the film chamber by sliding the lever located on the camera body.

Powering the Camera
- Insert four AA penlite cells into the battery chamber located on the camera body.
- Insert one 2.6 volt mercury cell into the designated slot in the camera.
- Press the battery tester button to check the battery levels. The meter will indicate the battery status.
Adjusting Exposure Settings
- Set the film speed by rotating the ASA dial to the desired value (16 to 400).
- Select either automatic or manual exposure control using the appropriate switch or dial.
- If using manual exposure control, adjust the aperture from f/1.8 to f/16 based on lighting conditions.
Focusing and Framing
- Use the through-the-lens split-image rangefinder or focusing ring to achieve precise focus.
- Click stops at hyperfocal distances of 5 and 15 feet are available for quick focusing.
- Frame your shot by looking through the viewfinder and adjusting the camera position as needed.
Recording Videos
- Press the run button to start recording at the selected film speed (18 or 24 fps).
