Product Description
The SCM 2970 coffee pot is designed to make hot drinks, such as coffee, and to boil water. It is important to follow the recommended water level and not exceed the maximum amount. Product Usage Instructions

Boiling Water
To boil water, follow these steps:

  1. Fill the pot with water according to the desired amount. Do not exceed the maximum level indicator to prevent overflow during boiling.
  2. Turn the coffee pot on by switching the ON/OFF button to the ON position.
  3. Once the water starts to boil, turn off the appliance.
  4. Place your drink (e.g., tea bag) inside the pot.

Note: Always hold the handle while operating to avoid burns.

Cleaning and Maintenance
To clean and maintain the coffee pot, follow these guidelines:

  1. Turn off the power and unplug the appliance from the wall socket.
  2. Clean the pot with cold water.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Use the coffee pot to make hot drinks (e.g. coffee) and to boil water. Do not add less water than the recommended level and do not exceed the maximum amount.
CAUTION: Do not boil milk in the coffee pot as it may stick to the appliance and form a dark brown layer on the bottom and sides which can only be removed with a sponge wire.

USE
You can make up to 4 cups of coffee at a time. Add water, coffee and sugar according to the amount you want to make. Plug the appliance in, turn the switch and stir for a while. Once the coffee starts to brew, turn the device off by turning the switch to the OFF position and pour the content into your cups.
NOTE: You can use a metal spoon if the coffee pot is connected to a grounded outlet.

Boiling water
To boil water, fill the pot according to the desired amount. Do not exceed the maximum level indicator as the water may overflow during boiling. Turn the coffee pot on by turning the switch to the ON position. Once the water starts to boil, turn the appliance off and place your drink (tea bag, etc.) inside.
Notes: Always hold the handle to avoid burns.
During use, the surface of the appliance and its parts can reach very high temperatures. It is not designed to operate with an external timer or a separate remote control system. The coffee pot should not be used by children under 8 years of age. Adult supervision is always required.

  • To remove lime scale from the coffee pot, add a little vinegar or citric acid to boiled water and let it act for a while. Then rinse well with clean water.

Attention: Removing lime scale with chemical cleaners can cause poisoning.
CAUTION: Dry the coffee pot before using it again.
