Product Usage Instructions
- Charging
To charge the headphones
- Insert the micro USB end of the supplied cable into the USB CHARGING PORT.
- Insert the standard USB end into a USB port on a USB charger or computer.
- The LED INDICATOR will turn Red when the headphones are charging.
- The LED INDICATOR will turn Off when the headphones are fully charged.
Power
- To turn the headphones ON
- Slide the POWER SWITCH down.
- The LED INDICATOR will begin flashing Blue.
- The voice prompt will alert you that the power is ON.
- To turn the headphones OFF
- Slide the POWER SWITCH up.
- The LED INDICATOR will turn Off.
- Pairing to Your Bluetooth Device
- Turn your Bluetooth device OFF entirely and then turn it back ON to refresh the device’s Bluetooth memory.
- Find the Bluetooth menu in your device and make sure the Bluetooth function is turned ON (refer to your device’s user manual for instructions on finding the Bluetooth menu).
- Turn the Headphones ON and unplug the headphone cable from the 3.5mm INPUT if necessary.
- On your device, perform a Bluetooth device discovery to add the A9HPBT as a new device.
- When the headphones are discovered, your device will display A9HPBT in the Bluetooth menu.
- After selecting A9HPBT from the Bluetooth menu, the LED indicator will slowly flash Blue, and the voice prompt will announce that Bluetooth Pairing was successful.
- If supported by your device’s menu, set the A9HPBT as authorized or add it to trusted devices.
- Playing Music
After successfully pairing the headphones with your Bluetooth device:
- Choose the song you wish to hear on your device’s menu system (refer to your device’s user manual for instructions on playing music).
- Playback & Volume Controls:
All playback controls (Play, Pause, Next/Previous song, etc.) can be controlled either directly on your device or on the buttons on the headphones.
- Note : The buttons on the headphones will only operate when connected to your device via Bluetooth mode. The buttons will not function when the headphones are connected with the 3.5mm headphone cable.
- Note : You can also adjust the volume using the volume controls on your connected device.
Answering & Ending Phone Calls
When connected to a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, the A9HPBT can be used as a mobile headset.
Note : The buttons on the headphones will only operate when connected to your device via Bluetooth mode. The buttons will not function when the headphones are connected to the 3.5mm headphone cable.
Using a Headphone Cable
If your device does not have Bluetooth or the battery on the headphones is low/dead, you can still listen to the headphones by connecting the supplied 3.5mm headphone cable to the 3.5mm INPUT on the headphones and the headphone jack on your device.
When the headphone cable is inserted into the 3.5mm INPUT, the headphones will automatically turn off the Bluetooth function and switch to the 3.5mm INPUT mode.

- BLUETOOTH HEADPHONES
CHARGING
To charge the headphones simply insert the micro USB end of the supplied cable
into the USB CHARGING PORT and the standard USB end into a USB port on a USB
charger or computer. The LED INDICATOR will turn Red when the headphones are
charging.
The LED INDICATOR will turn Off when the headphones are fully charged.
POWER
To turn the headphones ON slide the POWER SWITCH down. The LED INDICATOR will
begin flashing Blue and the voice prompt will alert you the power is ON.
To turn the headphones OFF slide the POWER SWITCH up. The LED INDICATOR will
turn Off.
PAIRING TO YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICE
- Turn your Bluetooth device OFF entirely and then turn it back ON to refresh the device’s Bluetooth memory.
- Find the Bluetooth menu in your device and make sure the Bluetooth function is turned ON (refer to your device’s user manual for instructions on finding the Bluetooth menu).
- Turn the Headphones ON and unplug the headphone cable from the 3.5mm INPUT if necessary.
- On your device, perform a Bluetooth “device discovery” to add the A9HPBT as a new device.
- When the headphones are discovered your device will display “A9HPBT” in the Bluetooth menu.
- After selecting “A9HPBT” from the Bluetooth menu the LED indicator will slowly flash Blue, and the voice prompt will announce that Bluetooth Pairing was successful.
- If supported by your device’s menu, set the A9HPBT as “set as authorized” or “add to trusted devices”
PLAYING MUSIC
After successfully pairing the headphones with your Bluetooth device, you can begin playing music simply by choosing the song you wish to hear on your device’s menu system (refer to your device’s user manual for instructions on playing music).
PLAYBACK & VOLUME CONTROLS
All playback controls (Play, Pause, Next/Previous song, etc.) can be controlled either directly on your device or on the buttons on the headphones.

- VOLUME UP – press the VOLUME UP button
- VOLUME DOWN – press the VOLUME DOWN button
- NOTE : You can also adjust the using the volume controls on your connected device.
ANSWERING & ENDING PHONE CALLS

LIMITED 90-DAY WARRANTY
- We warrant this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a ninety-day period from the original date of purchase from an authorized ATAK dealer.
- Should you be missing any of the included accessories or other components (screws, pieces, etc.), please contact the Customer Support Center to secure a replacement. It is not necessary to bring the unit back to the store. When calling, please reference the parts list found in the Instruction Manual to help us accurately identify the missing parts and promptly provide replacements.
- We will replace the unit free of charge should it become defective under this warranty, providing you, the original purchaser, have your original dated sales receipt.
- To obtain warranty service or replacement within the ninety-day warranty period, please return the product with all parts and accessories along with your original dated store receipt to the original place of purchase and the unit will be exchanged at no charge. It is not necessary to contact the manufacturer for warranty replacement.

- This warranty applies only under conditions of normal use.

- This warranty does not cover any product that has been subject to damage due to an act of nature, misuse, neglect, accident, abuse, commercial use, or modification of, or to, any part of the product. Damage to any external media such as USB or other memory devices are not covered nor is the cost incurred in shipping the unit for warranty repair or exchange. Under no circumstances shall ATAK be liable for any loss (direct, indirect, incidental, foreseen, unforeseen, special or consequential) or for any damage arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this product.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ATAK BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
