How to Install

  1. Put the heater to the left of the 3D printer z-axis. Make sure this position is available and will not be blocking the z-axis and resin tank movement path.
  2. Run the power cable through the enclosure, and plug it into the heater AC input.
  3. Peel off the backing from the double-sided tape on the base of the unit, and affix the unit to the printer.

How to Use

  1. If you want the ambient temperature to be 25°C (77°F), use the 1, and 2 buttons to set the target temperature to 25°C (77°F), then 5 will show 25°C.
  2. When the enclosure temperature is lower than 25°C (77°F), it will go into heating mode, and 3 lights will come on.
  3. When the enclosure temperature is higher than 25°C (77°F), it is now in keep warm mode, all lights will go out.
  4. When the enclosure temperature is higher than the set temperature by 4°C, it is now in Heat dissipation mode. 4 lights will come on.
  5. Press 1, or 2 buttons at the same time, it is in HOLD mode. The heater will stop working.

Q&A

  1. What is the procedure in cold weather?
Before printing, pour the resin into the resin tank and cover it with an enclosure. Turn on the air controller and set it to 25°C(77°F), wait until the temperature reaches 25°C(77°F), and keep warm for 20 minutes, pre-warming the resin before printing.

  2. How long will the carbon filter last before it needs replacing?
    Approx 100 hours.

  3. How can I raise the enclosure temperature in extremely cold weather?
If the room temperature is too low, or the enclosure is too big, cover the enclosure with a small blanket to reduce heat loss. Or use two heaters in one enclosure.

  4. My printer enclosure does not have a hole what should I do?
You can make a small hole (5mm) for the wire to run through.

  5. Why is my thermometer lower than the heater’s thermometer?

    • The heat sensor is a small bead thermistor at the inlet to the fan, it’s close to an outlet. So it’s higher than the temperature in the corner away from the heater.
    • We have found that some household electronic thermometers are slow to respond to real-time temperature, please trust the heater temperature sensor.
  6. How does it work?

    • In the beginning, to let the PTC heat up quickly, we set the fan speed to low. After 1 to 2 minutes, the PTC is hot enough and the fan speed increases.
    • When the enclosure temperature is higher than the set by 4°C, it enters the keep warm mode. At this time, the heater will run at minimum power.
