IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:
- This product has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a feature to reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
- Never use an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted.
- DO NOT ALTER THE PLUG.
- CAUTION: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons:
- Turn off, unplug, and allow to cool before replacing the lamp.
- Only use the following fluorescent lamps:
- 15 watt T8 (F15T8) with 24″ Strip Light
- 17-watt T8 (F17T8) with 30″ Strip Light
- 25 watt T8 (F25T8) with 36″ Strip Light
- Not intended for surface installation inside built-in furnishings such as kitchen cabinets. china cabinets or trophy cases.
- Household use only.
- It is not intended for wet or damp locations.
- For use over screen-covered terrariums only.
- The National Electrical Code (NEC) does not permit cords to be concealed where damage to insulation may go unnoticed. To prevent fire danger, do not run cord behind walls, ceilings, soffits, or cabinets where it may be inaccessible for examination. Cords should be visually examined periodically and immediately replaced when damage is noted.

INSTALLATION
- Make sure to review the “Important Safety Instructions” prior to plugging in and powering on the lighting fixture. The Zilla Strip Light fixture comes fully assembled. No additional assembly is required.
- Place Strip Light over covered terrariums only.
- Do not place fixtures in direct contact with water.
BULB REPLACEMENT
- Power off and unplug the light fixture.
- Remove the used bulb by turning it.
- Install a new bulb.
- Plug in the light fixture and power on.
Arrange decor inside the terrarium to create hiding places and shaded areas that allow reptiles to move away from UV lamps. In nature, reptiles will bas? for part of the day and then move into the shade after basking.
12 MONTH LIMITED WARRANTY
WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS:
Central Aquatics (Company) warrants this product (see Exclusions below) to the original purchaser against defective material and workmanship that occurs during normal use for 12 months from the date of original purchase. The company will, at the Company’s option, either repair or replace the same without charge (no cash refunds will be made).
EXCLUSIONS:
- Damage resulting from accident misuse, abuse, lack of reasonable care, subjecting the product to any but the specified electrical service, other than normal and or<linary use of the product? subjecting the product to abnormal working conditions or any other failure not resulting from defects in materials or workmanship.
- Damage resulting from modification, tampering with, or attempted repair by anyone other than the Company.
- Transfer of product to someone other than the original consumer purchaser.
- This warranty will not be effective unless and until the Zilla product is shown to have been used by the safety and installation instructions accompanying the product, including the requirement that the product be used over a screen-covered terrarium.
