Your First Scan

For best results:

  • Wear tight clothing or underwear.
  • If you have long hair, tie it up to ensure your neck is visible.

To perform a scan:

  1. Step on ShapeScale and make a fist with both hands. Stand upright with your feet separated in a wide stance. The scan will automatically start.
  2. Avoid moving during the scan. Focus on an imaginary point in front of you and do not watch the product while it rotates.
  3. The scan will last approximately 1 minute. Shapescale will inform you which part of your body is being scanned. The device will notify you when the scan is complete.
  4. The LED will indicate the progress of the scan upload, which should take around 5 minutes at a rate of 1 MB/s (300MB). Keep the device connected to power until the scan has finished uploading.
  5. Once uploaded, it will take about 5 minutes to process your scan. You will receive a notification in the app when the scan is ready. When the LED returns to rainbow, you are ready to take another scan.
