Master 4605D Retractable Cable Lock
Operating Instructions
To Set Your Combination
- The combination is pre-set at the factory to 0-0-0
- With the cable fully retracted, hold down the Reset Button (E) and push the Cable Head (3) down into the lock until you hear a “click”.
- Rotate the dials to your desired combination.
- Pull out the Cable Head (B). Your personal combination is now set.
To Unlock
- Turn the dials to the opening combination.
- Press the Cable Release Button (D) to release the Cable Head (B) from the Locking Port (C).
- Hold down the Cable Trigger Button (A) to retract the cable.
Caution: The cable return mechanism is spring-loaded. Please keep your hands and face out of the rebound path.
To Lock
- Verify the dials are set to the opening combination, then press the Cable Trigger Button (A) and extend the cable to the desired length.
- Insert the Cable Head (B) into the Locking Port (C) while holding down the Cable Release Button (D) until the Cable Head locks into place.
- Or, to have the cable fit tightly around the object being secured, insert the Cable Head (3) halfway into the two-position Locking Port (C) and press the Cable Trigger Button (A) to retract the cable.
- When the cable is tight, hold down the Cable Release Button (D) and push the Cable Head (B) fully into the Locking Port (C) until you hear it click into place.
- Scramble the combination dials to lock.
