Before operating this product, please read these instructions completely and save this manual for future use.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Please read the safety instructions before using this product. The safety instructions provided here are to help you use this product safely and correctly, and also to prevent you from injuring yourself or others. When using electrical products, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following: READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING.

DANGERS-WATER

  • Do not place or store the charger where it can fall or be pulled into a bathtub, sink or toilet.
  • Do not place or drop the charger into water or other liquid.
  • Do not reach for the charger that has fallen into water or other liquid. Unplug immediately.
  • Do not use while bathing.
  • Unplug charger before cleaning and assure that it is dry before plugging it into an electrical outlet.

DANGERS-VOLTAGE

  • Do not plug the charger into an outlet with a voltage other than specified on the bottom of the charger.
  • This product is designed to operate within a range of 100 – 240 volts.
  • Voltage converters do not guarantee compatibility.
  • Do not force the plug into an outlet.
  • If the plug does not fit easily into the outlet, discontinue use.
  • Always unplug this product immediately after using.
  • Never use while sleeping or drowsy.
  • The supply cord should be scrapped.

MEDICAL-WARNINGS

  • If you have had oral surgery or gum surgery within the past two months, consult your dentist before using the product.
  • Consult your dentist if excessive bleeding occurs while using this product or minor bleeding continues to occur after one week of use.
  • Consult your physician prior to using the toothbrush if you have any medical concerns.
  • Consult your physician or implant device manufacturer prior to using this product if you have questions concerning the combined use of this product with a pacemaker or other implanted medical device(s).

WARNINGS

  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • Oral toothbrush can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge under supervision.
  • Children shall not play with the appliance.
  • Toothbrushes can be used by children and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the product.
  • Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual.
  • This product is designed to clean your teeth, gums only. Do not use any attachments or brush heads other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
  • The toothbrush is a personal care appliance and is not intended for use on multiple patients in a dental office or institution.
  • If your toothpaste includes peroxide, baking soda or other bicarbonate (common in whitening toothpastes), thoroughly clean your brush head and handle to avoid cracking the plastic.
  • Never operate this product if it has a damaged cord, plug or charger.
  • Do not use this product if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged or dropped into water. Immediately discontinue use if the product appears damaged in any way.
  • Keep the product away from heated surfaces.
  • If you experience discomfort or pain in your mouth, discontinue use of this product and contact a dentist.
  • Do not attempt to remove the battery.
  • Do not clean the product in the dishwasher.
  • Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
  • Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
  • For household use only. Do not use outdoors.

GETTING STARTED

Charging the toothbrush

  • Be sure to turn off the toothbrush before charging.
  • Place the handle in the charger. If the battery capacity below 20%.The charging indicator will light up red. (Fig.1)
  • The charging indicator will change into green after charging for a while and will always on after fully charged.
  • The red indicator on the reminder need to be charged.

Notes

  • It takes at least 16 hours to charge the battery fully.
  • The toothbrush must be charged for 16 hours, if:
    • this is the first time using the toothbrush;
    • the toothbrush has not been used for more than 3 months;
  • To keep the battery fully charged, we recommend that you keep the toothbrush in the charger when not in use.
  • During charging, the toothbrush will get warm, but this is normal.
  • The operating duration will become shorter as the battery gets older.
  • If the toothbrush operates only for 1 short time after being fully charged, this means that the battery is nearing the end of its life cycle. Contact service center for support.

HOW TO USE

  1. To mount the brush head on the toothbrush. (Fig.2)
  2. Put toothpaste on the brush head.
  3. Place the brush head in your mouth.
  4. Lightly press the “ON/OFF/Mode” button to switch on the toothbrush and start to brush your teeth and the clean mode indicator will light up. (Fig.3)
  5. Brush evenly throughout the mouth in four sections. (Fig.4)
  6. Outside upper;
  7. Outside lower;
  8. Inside upper;
  9. Inside lower;
  10. Guide the brush head slowly from tooth to tooth.
    • Hold the brush head in place for a few seconds before moving on to the next tooth.
    • Brush the gums as well as the teeth, first the outsides, then the insides, and finally the chewing surfaces.
    • Do not press too hard or scrub, simply let the brush do all the work.
  11. During brushing, after pressing the mode button the handle will work at the next mode and start another 2-minute cycle with 30 seconds intervals.
  12. After cleaning mode, short press the “Mode” button into polish mode and the polish mode indicator will light up. (Fig.5)
  13. After polish mode, press the “ON/OFF” button during brushing to terminate a brush. (Fig.3)

NOTE

  • A brushing time of 2 minutes is generally long enough to clean your teeth properly. If you want you can brush longer than 2 minutes for an even more thorough clean.
  • When you first use your electric toothbrush you may experience slight bleeding. This should stop after a few days when your gums get used to the toothbrush. If the bleeding persists, Please consult your dentist.
  • If you brush your teeth hard, the pressure sensor lamp will light up.

MAINTENANCE

  1. Turn on the toothbrush and rinse the drive shaft under the tap to remove toothpaste residues. (Fig.6)
  2. Turn off the toothbrush, detach the brush head and rinse the inside of the brush head (max.140F). (Fig.7)
  3. Turn on the toothbrush and rinse the brush head under a tap. (Fig.8)
  4. The toothbrush head put back on the handle. (Fig.2)
  5. Clean the toothbrush and charger with a soft moist cloth or paper towel. (Fig.9)
  6. When the toothbrush is not in use for an extended period, unplug the power cord and place the product into its box. Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.

NOTE

  • Replace the brush head every 3 months for the best brushing effect.
  • Also replace the brush head when the bristles start to bend outwards.
  • Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative or the product has no user-serviceable parts.

DISPOSAL

The power source of this product is Lithium ion battery which can be recycled. At the end of the product’s life, always remove the battery before you discard the product, and recycle or dispose of the battery according to local waste management requirements. If you have recycling questions, contact your local waste management office.

Removing and recycling the battery

Do not disassemble the product at any time other than when disposing of it. Doing so earlier will destroy the product. Observe basic safety precautions. The appliance must be disconnected from the supply mains when removing the battery.

  1. Take down the cap at the bottom of the handle. Use a “+” screwdriver twist off two screws, and remove the cap. (Fig.10)
  2. Push the holder buckle inside the handle with a knife, and take out the battery holder. (Fig.11)
  3. Use a “-” screwdriver to pry the battery out of the battery holder. (Fig.12)
  4. Be careful not to short-circuit the negative and positive poles of the battery. Do not connect the appliance to the mains again after you have removed the battery.
  5. Recycle or dispose of the battery properly. Ask your local waste management office if they accept the remaining toothbrush components for recycling.
