Trial Run

  • Before using the tent for the first time, it is recommended to have a trial run by setting up and taking down the tent. This will help you become familiar with the tent and ensure a smoother camping experience.

Condensation Management

Condensation may occur on the inside surfaces of the tent under certain weather conditions. To minimize condensation, follow these tips:

  • * Remove wet clothes or items from the tent.
    • Increase ventilation by opening windows or vents.
    • Place a PVC mat under the tent to prevent ground moisture from seeping in.
  • Waterproofing
    • The flysheet of the tent is made of waterproof material. To ensure water does not seep through during rainy weather conditions, avoid touching the inside surface of the flysheet.
  • Tent Setup
    • When setting up the tent, avoid securing it too tightly. This will allow the tent to adapt to varying wind and weather conditions effectively.
  • Insecticides Warning
    • Do not spray insecticides inside or on the tent as they may damage the fabric and coating.
  • Tent Takedown and Storage
    • Before packing the tent, ensure it is completely dry to prevent mildew or rotting. Lightly grease all metal poles with a non-acidic oil after use. Store the tent in a dry place.
  • Cleaning
    • To clean the tent, use a soft sponge and pure water. Do not wash the tent in a washing machine or have it dry cleaned.
  • Seam Maintenance
    • Although the tent has waterproof seams, it is recommended to use a seam sealer or waterproof spray at regular intervals for all seams around the zips and toggles. These areas are prone to tension and may need extra protection.
  • Tape Repair
    • If the tape comes off after prolonged exposure to the sun, remove the loose tape and use a seam sealer and waterproof spray to re-seal the seams.
  • Tent Folding and Packing
    • When folding the tent, measure it with the carry bag to ensure it is not too wide. Roll the tent around the poles in their pole bag and fit it into the Easy Camp carry bag.
  • Getting Familiar
    • It is advised to set up the tent for a trial run to become familiar with its assembly process.
  • Proper Tent Tensioning
    • Avoid over-tightening the tent while setting it up to allow flexibility against wind and weather conditions.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE TIPS

  • Get the most out of your camping trip by having a trial run, putting up and taking down your new tent in order to know it before you use it for the fi rst time.

Condensation should not be confused with leakage.

  • Under certain weather conditions, condensation can occur on the inside surfaces of your tent. To help prevent this you must remove wet clothes etc., increase ventilation or erect your tent on a PVC mat.
  • The fl ysheet is made of waterproof material. To prevent water from seeping through the fl ysheet avoid touching the inside surface in rainy weather conditions.
  • When erecting your tent, do not secure it too tightly, otherwise it will not be able to adapt to varying wind and weather conditions.

Insecticides must not be sprayed in or on the tent as they may damage the fabric and coating!

  • When taking down and packing the tent, it must be completely dry to avoid mildew/rotting. We recommend that after use all metal poles be lightly greased with a nonacidic oil.
  • Remove dirt from the tent with a soft sponge and pure water. Never wash the tent in a washing machine and never have it drycleaned.

Store the tent in a dry place.

  • Even though we have used a special waterproof thread for all seams, we recommend that you use a seam sealer or a waterproof  spray at regular intervals for allseams around the zips and toggle. The seams are some of the weaker points on your tent as there can be a lot of tension around them.
  • Please note that the tape may come off after prolonged exposure to the sun. If this happens you can repair your tent by removing loose tape and use a seam sealer and waterproof spray to re-seal seams.
  • When you have folded the tent, measure it with the carrybag to make sure it is not too wide. You should now be able to roll the tent round the poles in their pole bag and fi t it into the Easy Camp carrybag.
