Product Usage Instructions

Leash Identification and Usage

Note: We recommend attaching the leash to the dog’s harness instead of the collar strap. Attaching the leash to the collar strap may cause discomfort or even injury to the dog. Please use it with caution.

Avoid leaving the collar on the dog’s neck for more than 18 hours per day.

Button Identification

  • Power/Program: Used for turning the device on/off and switching between modes
  • Vibration: Adjusts the vibration level in Manual Mode
  • Static Shock: Adjusts the static shock level in Manual Mode
  • Beep: Activates a beep sound as a training signal

Power On

  1. Press and release the power button to turn on the device.
  2. To check collar battery life, double-tap the battery icon. The number of beeps and a flashing red light indicate the battery level.

Switching Modes

  1. With the device powered on, press and release the power button once to switch from Manual Mode to Auto Mode. Press again to switch back.

Auto Mode

In Auto Mode, the device automatically sends different signals based on the dog’s pulling intensity:

  • Beep signal when the dog pulls 3 lbs
  • Beep + Vibration signal when the dog pulls 5 lbs
  • Beep + Vibration + Static Shock signal when the dog pulls 7 lbs

Note: The Manual Mode still works when the device is in Auto Mode.

Adjusting Vibration Level (Manual Mode Only)

  1. In Manual Mode, press the vibration button.
  2. Press the + or – button to adjust the vibration level from Level 1 to Level 9.

Adjusting Static Shock Level (Manual Mode Only)

  1. In Manual Mode, press the static shock or beep button.
  2. Press the + or – button to adjust the static shock level from Level 1 to Level 9.

Probe Covers and Selection

  • Short Rubber Probe Covers: Used for short-haired dogs
  • Long Rubber Probe Covers: Used for long-haired dogs
  • Short Probes: Attach short probe covers for short-haired dogs
  • Long Probes: Attach long probe covers for long-haired dogs

Tips for Training

The static shock is very mild and designed to get the dog’s attention. Always follow it with a verbal command. Begin training on Level 1 and adjust according to your dog’s size and temperament.

Charging

The USB charging port for the smart leash handle can be found on the side. The USB charging port for the collar is located on the bottom, under the rubber tab.

Static Shock Testing

Note: The leash must be in manual mode for testing.

  1. Place the tester on the probes, ensuring the wires in the tester slots contact the probes.
  2. Press the static shock button on the control handle.
  3. The tester will light up if the static shock is working.

Collar Adjustment

Note: The collar should be adjusted to be snug but not tight around the dog’s neck. You should be able to slide one finger comfortably between the collar and your dog’s neck.

Attaching the Leash

To attach the leash to the collar and leash-handle:

Use your thumb to open the connector and place it on the collar and handle loop.

Power On

  • Double tap the” ” icon to check collar battery life:
  • 5 Beeps = 100% 4 Beeps = 80% 3 Beeps = 60%
  • 2 Beeps = 40% 1 Beep = 20% Red light will flash for 10 seconds indicating battery life is too low = shutting down

Switch from Manual Mode to Auto Mode

  • With Power On, press and release the power button once to switch from Manual to Auto. (Press again to switch back)

Auto Mode

  • The device will automatically send a “Beep” signal when the dog pulls 3 lbs.
  • The device will automatically send a “Beep+Vibration” signal when the dog pulls 5 lbs.
  • The device will automatically send a “Beep+Vibration+Static Shock” signal when the dog pulls 7 Ibs.
  • When the device is in the Auto mode, the Manual mode still works.

TIPS: The static shock is very mild and it wouldn’t hurt the dogs. It is designed to get their attention and should always be followed by a verbal command.
Always begin training on Level 1 and work up to a proper level under your dog’s size and temperament.

  • The USB charging port for the smart leash handle can be found on the side as indicated in the photo.

  • The USB charging port for the collar can be found on the bottom of the collar by lifting the rubber tab.

NOTE: The leash must be in manual mode for testing.

To test for static shock, place the tester on the probes making sure the wires in the tester slots contact the probes. Then press the static shock button on the control handle and the tester will light up.

  • We are now ready to attach the leash to the collar and leash handle by using your thumb to open the connector and place it on the collar and handle loop.

NOTE: The collar should be adjusted to be snug but not tight around the dog’s neck.

  • For best fit, you should be able to slide one finger comfortably between the collar and your dog’s neck.
