Product Usage Instructions

Setting Up the Product

Charge the Battery

  1. Tum off the camera power, open the battery cover, insert the battery correctly, and tum on.
  2. You can use the induced Type-C cable to charge the camera via an adapter (5V/1A~5V/2A).
  3. When the battery is charging, the charging indicator will light up red.
  4. When the battery is fully charged, the charging indicator will automatically tum off.
  5. It usually takes about 2 hours to fully charge the battery.
  6. Can record for about 1 hour when the battery is fully charged.

Turn on/off the Camera

fig-4 Note : When using the camera for the first time, you need to long-press the power button to power it on. If there are no batteries in the battery compartment, you need to long-press the power button to power the camera after inserting the batteries.

Insert and Format the Memory Card

It is recommended that you format the memory card before using it for the first time, and it is recommended to use a TF card with C10 or higher speed.

  1. Open the battery cover and insert the memory card until you hear a click. To remove the memory card, open the battery cover, push the memory card, and the memory card will automatically eject.
  2. After the camera is powered on, press the menu key to enter the system Settings screen. Press the up and down keys to find the Format option, then press the OK key to get the submenu and select Format to format the memory card.

Note: If the memory card is not formatted, the screen will pop up a prompt [Unsupported file system, whether to format], please format the memory card as described above. Formatting the memory card will erase all data stored on it and the data will not be recovered. Back up important data before formatting.

Connect to the Computer

  1. Use the included Type-C data cable to connect the camera’s Type-C interface to the USB port of the computer.
  2. The camera will automatically power on, and the screen will display three available options: [Mass Storage Mode], [Camera], [Charaina Model as shown in the fiaure below’

  1. Storage mode
    Select Mass Storage Mode, and the computer will display the camera’s memory card, which can transfer files from the camera’s memory card to the computer.

  2. Camera mode Select [Camera], the camera can be used as a webcam, live broadcast, etc.
    Note: When the camera is used as a webcam, only the digital zoom lever can be operated on the camera and no other functions can be used.

  3. Charging mode
    Select [Charging mode], the camera supports normal recording function. Turning the camera off will charge it more quickly than leaving it on.

Camera Cleaning and Maintenance

  1. If the camera is not used for an extended period, remove the battery and store it in a dust-free, dry environment at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
  2. To prolong the battery life, fully discharge it before storage.
  3. After the battery is fully charged, discharge it completely at least once every 3 months.
  4. If there is dust or dirt on the lens or screen, gently wipe them with a clean, soft lens cloth.
  5. Due to the precision nature of this device, avoid dropping it or subjecting it to strong impacts or vibrations.

Troubleshooting

If you are having problems with your camera, see this section.

  1. The camera cannot be turned on after the battery is installed

  2. The battery is insufficient, please replace the battery or charge the battery.

  3. The battery is inverted, please make sure that the battery is inverted

  4. The battery insulation paper is not torn off.

  5. The battery is not charged

  6. If the charging indicator is off, the battery is not in place or in poor contact. Reinstall the battery until the indicator light is red (it goes off after the battery is fully charged).

  7. The charging indicator light is not bright, and the charger is not plugged in. Please check whether the charger is properly connected.

  8. The ambient temperature is lower than 10 ° C, which may lead to slow or no charging.

  9. The camera crashes
    Pressing the various buttons of the camera quickly may cause the camera to crash. After the crash, unplug the battery and restart it. Tip: Do not press the camera button quickly while the camera is recording or taking pictures. Normally, the camera displays a wait icon.

  10. Memory card is not recognized

  11. Please check whether the memory card conforms to the TF card (Class10), the maximum is not more than 256G.

  12. Please check whether the memory card is inserted backward.

  13. When using the memory card on the camera for the first time, it is recommended to format it first.

  14. Supplementary explanation

  15. Do not insert anything except the memory card into the slot.

  16. After turning on the power, the camera may appear unstable for a few seconds, which is not a fault.

  17. Due to the optical properties of the lens, there may be dispersion (color difference amplification) at the edge of the image. It’s not a camera malfunction.

  18. It is normal for the memory card to heat up after prolonged use.

  19. It is normal for the camera screen to heat up after prolonged use.
