A vehicle’s instrument cluster has an offset value meaning the value displayed
on the factory instrument cluster is slightly higher than that computed by the
vehicle. This offset value is different for different vehicle manufacturers.
As a result, the following table is included from a large range of test data.
If you find the value on your dashboard is different to the value displayed by
the HUD, you can change it through the following procedure.

HUD installation and preparation before use
- Understand your model brand, when buying HUD need to choose the OBD II (or EU OBD) standard model to use normally, open and look for the sticker under the hood, if there is OBDII CERTIFIED words can be installed (Figure 1), check that there is no car diagnostic seat under the steering wheel (most domestic cars after 2007 are assembled).
- Find the 16-pin diagnostic socket (Figure 2) and connect it with an OBDII cable.
Basic method of film:
- First spray some water on the film. Wipe it clean with an electrostatic towel without any dust
- The protective layer 1 of the reflective film is torn open and attached to the HUD position on the film.
- After adjusting the position, use the scraper or a smooth object to scrape flat the film until there are no bubbles inside.
- If the data displayed by the HUD is not fully displayed on the reflective film, you can slightly move the anti-slip pad and the machine for adjustment
OBD2 HUD FAQ
