How to use
Once powered up, the device is in standby mode (red LED is on). To turn it on,
use the power button on the remote controller or press the reset button.
App Download
Download the 4STREAM application from the App Store for iOS-based devices and
Google Play Store for Android-based devices. The application supports multiple
languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese,
Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese.
Attention for Android users:
Different brand mobile phones may ask you to allow the use of the SoundSystem
WiFi Network. Please choose “yes” to set up successfully.
Connection
Connection via WiFi
To connect via WiFi:
- Make sure your mobile phone and the device are on the same network.
- Open the 4STREAM application.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the device to your WiFi network.
Connection via LAN
To connect via LAN:
- Plug in the wired cable to the RJ45 Ethernet port on the device.
- The device will show on the app in about 10 seconds.
- Note: The mobile phone and the device must be on the same network.
Bluetooth Connection
To use Bluetooth:
- Switch to Bluetooth mode via the app or by using the remote controller.
- On your phone’s Bluetooth settings, find the Bluetooth device named “SoundSystem” and pair it.

Introduction
Stream IT 3 is a high-end audio preampliöer with streaming services over the network and Bluetooth aptX HD connectivity. Using Stream IT in your system enables you to stream music from your smart device, USB, NAS, or streaming services such as Spotify, Tidal, or Qubuz in high resolution with the use of the 4STREAM App, AirPlay, Bluetooth, or via the local RCA (analog) or Toslink optical (digital) inputs. Connect your ampliöer or powered loudspeakers to the analog RCA LeftRight-Sub outputs or digital via RCA coax or Toslink optical. Using multiple units you can set up a multiroom system for home or office audio distribution.

How to use
Once powered up, the device is in standby mode (red LED is on), use the power button on the remote controller or ed press the reset button to turn it on.
App Download
- Download the 4STREAM application from the App Store for iOS-based devices and Google Play Store for Android-based devices.
- The application supports English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and multiple languages including Korean, and Simpli! ed Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese.
Connection
Connection via app
- Power the device.
- Connect your mobile devices to your network.
- Go for mobile device WLAN settings> Connect the mobile device to hotspot SoundSystem_xxxx you will see a WiFi logo. (short press the reset button if the hotspot is not found).
- Open the 4STREAM application, follow the guides, or if you see the device in the device list, click on the + icon in the top right corner.
- Choose the 2.4G network (Only the 2.4G network will appear), Enter the router password> and wait for the device to be configured. *For multiple units connecting to the same router, the router password will be saved.
Attention for Android users.
Different Brand Mobile Phones May ask you to Allow to Use SoundSystem WiFi
Network, Please Choose yes, If not, You may Not Able to Set up Successfully.
Connection via LAN
Plug in the wired cable to the RJ45 Ethernet, the device will show on the app
in about 10 seconds.
(Note: The mobile phone and the device must be on the same network)
Bluetooth
To use Bluetooth, please switch to Bluetooth via app or by remote controller,
then find Bluetooth device SoundSystem from your phone Bluetooth setting and
pair it.

NOTES: The iOS-based devices have blocked the access to iTunes library.
To Play Music From the NAS
Please note that our system only supports NAS with the DLNA feature.

To Play Line in Mode
Connect the AUX cables to the TV or other audio sources. Choose line-in mode on the application or remote control. -
To Play Bluetooth Mode
- Choose the Bluetooth mode on the application or remote control, the LED will change to blue.
- Open the Bluetooth on your mobile device.
- Pair the device Bluetooth (SoundSystem) and play.

To Play Optical in Mode
Connect an optical cable to the TV or other audio sources Choose Optical mode on the application or remote control.
Streaming Services
To use the online streaming services, iHeartRadio, Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, and
Deezer may need to register an account at the service provider platform.
Spotify
To use Spotify, you need a Spotify premium account. You will find the device
in the device list in the Spotify application and choose the device you want
to play. NOTE: one Spotify account can only stream to one device at a time.
AirPlay
The device supports AirPlay1, You can Choose the AirPlay and play music.
Qplay
The device supports QQ Music using the Qplay protocol, you have to turn on the
Qplay in the QQ Music player setting and then find the device in the Qplay
list.
Multiroom and Multizone
Users can group multiple rooms and zones on the application. For example, you
can group devices 1, 2, and 3 to play the same music in sync, or group devices
1 and 2 as zone A and devices 3 and 4 as zone B, and play different music in
zones A and B.
Left and Right Channel
Users can choose the right channel or left channel or stereo mode on the
application, or choose the left channel on device A and choose the right
channel on device B, and group them and play in sync to make stereo.
Preset
There are 6 buttons on the remote control, users can preset playlists (Only
the lists with speaker icons can preset) on the application from 1~6. When you
press button 1 on the remote, the preset list saved in slot 1 will play.
(Users can preset 10 playlists on the Application, but the remote control can
only trigger from 1-6).
Source mode Change

Method 1: Change on Application
Users can change play mode on the application, WiFi, Bluetooth, Line input, and USB. To change from Bluetooth/line input/USB to WiFi, only need to choose online streaming services such as Tidal, Qobuz or Spotify or cell phone local storage music or any music via DLNA or UPnP streaming. -
Method 2: Change with remote control
Users can use the remote control to change the play modes- WiFi, Bluetooth, Line input, and USB. -
Method 3: Press the Reset Button
Users can press the reset button once to switch source mode, WiFi, Bluetooth, Line input, and USB.
Restore Factory Setting
Two methods to restore the device to the factory setting
- Method 1: Quickly press the reset button 3 times to restore factory settings.
- Method 2: Select the gear wheel in the app and then go to: Speaker Info> Restore Factory Settings
Firmware Update
The application will notify the app when there is a new örmware version
available. It’s recommended to update örmware whenever available as this might
not only correct bugs or improve security but can also add new features or
services.
Play on PC
There are Several Tools to Play Music from the PC
To Play Music From iTunes on Mac and Windows PC
The device can stream audio sources from local storage, media library on Mac
and Windows PC, and online services from iTunes. Users can easily play and
switch music, control volume and choose the audio devices to group and upgroup
the audio devices.
To Play Music From a Windows PC via Foobar2000
The device supports UPnP Protocol, With the Popular Foobar2000, You can play
music from Windows PC to Our Devices. Please follow the steps below:
- Download the Foobar2000 and install it.
- Refer to the doc on how to add the UPnP component to our website download column.
- Refer to the link below on how to add UPnP Component http://wiki.hydrogenaud.io/index.php?title=Foobar2000:How_to_install_a_component
- Restart the Foobar2000, Then Check: Library> configure> output> device, you will see the PLAYER in the device option column.
- Choose the Device to play the music.
Web Player Interface
You can access the web player interface by entering the IP address of the device into a web browser. *You can find the device IP address by clicking on the device setup icon, and then selecting Speaker Info.
You can control the volume, Play/Pause, previous/next song, repeat and shuffle function for songs or stations you’re currently playing or trigger presets you have set up, or change the input source.
In the setup menu, you can do a couple of things:
When entering the setup interface, an admin password is required. The default
password is: admin
- Manual update of the device firmware
- Change the Device Name
- Setup WiFi connection
- Setup Static IP Address
- Change Admin password
If you want to set up the WiFi connection for the first time without using another method.
- After powering up the device, connect your mobile/PC WiFi to the device SSID: SoundSystem_xxxx.
- In the web browser input 10.10.10.254 (this is the default IP address when there is no network being set)
- Go to settings and click on the connect button under the Connect to AP option.
- Select the wiö SSID you want to connect to.
- Enter the password if required and click on the connect button.
- Now your device is connected to your network, you will need to enter the new ip address to continue to use the web player. (Since the ip address is not 10.10.10.254 anymore but given another address by your router.)

A: Yes. It supports airplay and third-party apps like foobar2000 and musicbee. -
Q: How many zones can you group in one system?
A: 12 rooms is the maximum, while 8 zones are recommended. -
Q: What distance can your wireless audio system cover?
A: Once the system is connected to your WiFi router, you can stream your music anywhere there is a decent WiFi signal. -
Q: Can it play high-resolution music?
A: Yes. You can play APE and FLAC within the normal bit rate range. They also support decoding 24bit/192kHz music files. -
Q: How many languages do you support?
A: The device auto-detects your mobile device language and changes automatically. Currently, we support English, French, German, Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, Korean, and Japanese and more on the way. -
Q: What online music services do you support?

Q: Can I play local music?
A: Yes. You can play music from “MY MUSIC” on the application from local storage devices such as mobile device storage, USB thumb drives, and NAS. -

A: The Windows application is not available at the moment, but on the Windows PC, users can use iTunes, Foobar2000, and Spotify Connect. -
Q: Can all music sources play in multiroom mode?

Q: Does Stream IT support Google Assistant or Alexa?
A: The device does not support Alexa, yet through Bluetooth, the device can work with Google Assistant.
