Using the Device

Using the Pressure Gauge

  1. Press the button to power on. The LCD will display for about 2 seconds and then display 00.0PSI [or other pressure units as selected].
  2. Align the tyre pressure gauge with the air valve on the tyre and press it home tightly. If the pressure is stable for about 2 seconds, the correct pressure will be displayed.
  3. Press the left switch incrementally and the screen will display the pressure value in alternative units, (PSI, Bar, KPA, Kg/cm2, PSI).
  4. The number is displayed for about 10 seconds before the display returns to 00.0. The gauge will automatically shut down in about 30 seconds.
  5. Press the button for 2 seconds to manually power off.

Thank you for purchasing this CLARKE Pressure Gauge/Work light. Before attempting to use this product, please read this manual thoroughly and follow the instructions carefully. In doing so you will ensure the safety of yourself and that of others around you, and you can look forward to your purchase giving you long and satisfactory service.

  • This product is guaranteed against faulty manufacture for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt which will be required as proof of purchase.

USING THE DEVICE

USING THE PRESSURE GAUGE

  1. Press the button to power on. The LCD will display for about 2 seconds and then display 00.0PSI [or other pressure units as selected].
  2. Align the tyre pressure gauge with the air valve on the tyre and press it home tightly. If the pressure is stable for about 2 seconds the correct pressure will be displayed.
  3. Press the left switch incrementally and the screen will display the pressure value in alternative units, (PSI, Bar, KPA, Kg/cm2, PSI).

  5. Press the button for 2 seconds to manually power off.
    NOTE : The device has been calibrated at the factory but a certified pressure gauge may provide greater assurance of accuracy, considering variations due to altitude.

USING THE LIGHTS
CAUTION : NEVER LOOK AT THE WORKLIGHT BEAM. ALWAYS POINT IT AWAY FROM YOURSELF AND NEVER POINT THE LIGHT AT ANOTHER PERSON.

  1. Press the LED button once to switch on the end (pen) worklight.
  2. Press the button a second time to switch on the side worklight.
  3. Press the button a third time to make the worklight brighter.
  4. Press the button again to switch the worklight off.
  5. Press the rear button at any time to temporally switch the active lamp off.

BATTERY CHARGING

  1. Connect the charging cable to any USB socket of an active appliance or vehicle to charge the battery.
    •  The display screen will illuminate in green when the lamp is charging with the battery status shown in up to 4 black bars.
  2. The worklight should not be operated while using the charger.
  3. The battery should be re-charged after use or at least every 3 months. Failure to re-charge the battery will lead to reduced performance of the worklight and to premature battery failure.

NOTE : The batteries cannot be replaced.

POSITIONING
The unit is fitted with two magnets for positioning on a steel surface.

DAILY CARE

  1. If you plan to store the worklight (e.g. for emergencies), we recommend that the battery is fully charged before doing so, this will ensure the longest possible battery life.
  2. NEVER abuse the charging cable or yank the cable to disconnect it. Keep the cable away from sharp edges/hot surfaces.
  3. DO NOT leave the battery in a discharged state. Recharge the battery after use.
  4. To keep your worklight clean, wipe with a damp cloth only, DO NOT use detergents, chemicals or harmful abrasives. NEVER immerse in water.
  5. The light source of this device is not replaceable. When the light source reaches its end of life the device must be replaced.
