Installation Steps

  1. Wipe the surface and make sure the surface is clean and dry.
  2. Tear off one of the sides of the 3m tape and apply it it to the side or top of the light(Note: Wall Mounted needs to be applied to the side, and ceiling mounted needs to be applied to the top.)
  3. Tear off the 3M tape on the back of the light.
  4. Press the light firmly against the surface for more than 15 seconds. (Ceiling Mounted Suggestion: Install the string lights 1.9-3.9 inches away from the wall surface).
  5. Use cable clips to organize cables. Use screws to secure the cable clamps in place.
  6. Connect the power and enjoy the string downlight.

Pairing Your Device with the Smart Life App

What You Need

  • A WI-FI router that supports 2.4GHz and 802.11 b/g/n bands(5GHz not supported)
  • A smartphone or tablet running IOS or Android.

Pairing Instructions

  1. download the “Smart Life” App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play(Android). Create and log in with your account.
  2. Turn on the Bluetooth and Location on your smartphone.
  3. Open the Smart Life App, tap the “+” icon in the top right corner and search for “indoor wall light”
  4. Tap the device icon and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing.

Controlling the Device with Your Voice

  • Open the app, then tap the “me” icon in the bottom right corner to enter the details page.
  • Select the Alexa or Google Assistant user guide and follow the on-screen instructions to control the device using your voice.

Troubleshooting

  • cannot connect to the Smart Life App
  • Check if the light is powered on.
  • Check if your smartphone’s Bluetooth and location are enabled, or try connecting with another smartphone.

Wi-Fi disconnected or failed to connect

  • Check if the light is powered on.
  • Ensure your Wi-Fi router is 2.4GHz capable (5G is not supported)
  • Ensure you entered the correct Wi-Fi password during the Wi-Fi connection process.
  • Try connecting the light with a smartphone hotspot to check if your home network is working properly.
  • Shorten the distance between the light and the Wi-Fi router to less than 20ft, then try reconnecting.
  • Check that the control box and power adaptor are all properly connected.

  • External dimmers cannot be used with this product.
  • Avoid installing this product near potentially dangerous sources(e.g. candles,liquid-filled objects.)
