Step 1: Strip the Copper Wire
Using a wire stripper, carefully strip the insulation from the copper wire. Make sure to strip an appropriate length based on the connector size. -
Step 2: Plug the Rubber Seal
Take the rubber seal and insert it through the stripped wire. Ensure that the rubber seal is securely in place. -
Step 3: Attach the Male (Female) Terminal
Attach the male (female) terminal onto the rubber seal. Make sure it fits snugly and is aligned properly. -
Step 4: Crimp the Terminal
Using a crimping tool, carefully crimp the male (female) terminal onto the wire. Avoid crimping the wings of the terminal. Keep the wings up during the crimping process. -
Step 5: Insert the Wire into the Connector
Insert the pre-crimped wire into the corresponding plug of the male (female) connector. Ensure that it is fully inserted and secure. -
Step 6: Attach the Red Clip
Place the red clip onto the male connector to provide additional security and prevent accidental disconnection. -
Step 7: Pull Test
Perform a pull test to ensure that the terminals are properly crimped. Apply a gentle pulling force to the wire to check if it remains securely connected. If the terminals are not tightened properly, the wires may easily come out of the connector. -
Step 8: Docking the Male and Female Plug
Once both the male and female connectors are crimped, dock them together to complete the connection.

- Pull test to ensure that the terminals are well crimped; if the terminals are not tightened in place, the wires will easily pull out of the connector.
- Docking the already crimped male and female plug.
