FEATURES/ DESCRIPTION
LWF-DF can replace standard ceiling fan/light switches. It turns your ordinary ceiling fan/light control into a smart, energy saving controller with manual and Smart app controls. The device has easy push buttons and indicator lights and the app provides complete control of the device. Besides speed, On/Off, and dimming controls, the app has scheduling, timers, scenes, and much more!
WARNING
Turn the power off at the circuit breaker before installing this device.
Read and understand these instructions before installing. This device is
intended for installation in accordance with the National Electric Code and
local regulations. It is recommended that a qualified electrician performs
this installation. Make sure to turn off the circuit breaker or fuse(s) and
make sure power is off before wiring the device.
Use copper wires only.
REQUIREMENTS
- Wall box where LWF-DF will be installed must have NEUTRAL wire(s)
- 2.4 GHz Wireless Network with internet connection. This device will be connected to a secured cloud server
- Download and install Tuya Smart app
WIRING DIRECTIONS
- Turn off power at circuit breaker.
- Identify the HOT, NEUTRAL, and GROUND wires in the wall box.
- Follow the wiring diagram below to connect the wires. On the device, HOT is Black, FAN is Blue, LIGHT is Red, NETURAL is White, and GROUND is Green.
- Mount the device to the wall box, install wallplate, and turn on the Power.
NOTE
Before using this switch to control your fan and light, be sure to first set the speed on the ceiling fan and light to high. Some fan models may have a pull string attached to its side or underside. Please check the fan manufacturer’s instructions on how to change fan speed.
RF WARNING
This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with minimum distance 20cm between the radiator & your body
SETTING UP SMART DEVICE
Follow these instructions to set up the app and the device on your Smart Phone or Tablet for the first time.

Make sure you are logged into the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network with an internet connection. Having just your cell phone connection will not work.
A 5 GHz will not work either (it’s range is too short). -
Download Tuya Smart app and open it.

Follow the onscreen instructions to create a new account or log in to an existing account.
As we continue to make the Smart app better, we will occasionally update it with new features, controls, and security updates. These updates can change the pairing steps, so be sure to follow the onscreen instructions for the next steps to pair your device.
FACTORY RESET
To factory reset the device, press the fan on/off button 6 times and on the 6th time, hold down the button for about 8 seconds, then release. If successful, the green LED indicator light on the device will blink rapidly
LED INDICATOR DEFINITIONS
- Green rapidly blinking: Connecting to the network or Ready to pair
- Green slowly blinking: Ready to pair in AP mode (follow instructions in Smart app for pairing in this mode)
- Solid bright green for 2 seconds, then off: Successfully connected to network
- Solid green: There is a problem with connection to network
- Solid blue on: The switch is in the On position. The load should be On
- Blue is off: The switch is in the Off position. The load should be Off.
NOTE: When the power is restored after a power outage or other power interruption, the green LED indicator should blink rapidly for about 5 – 10 seconds while it is reconnecting to the network. It should turn off once connected. If it changes to solid green, first verify that your network connection has access to the internet. Then try reconnecting the device to the network. Lastly, try factory resetting the device and reconnect in the app.

Original receipt or proof of purchase from an authorized retailer must be presented upon warranty claim. ALL claims must be verified and approved by Lider-Electric, Inc. Warranties from other Lider- Electric products may vary. This warranty is nontransferable and does not cover normal wear and tear or any malfunction, failure, or defect resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration, modification, or improper installation. To the fullest extent permitted by the applicable state law, Lider-Electric shall not be liable to the purchaser or end user customer of Lider-Electric products for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages even if Lider-Electric has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Lider-Electric’s total liability under this or any other warranty, express or implied, is limited to repair, replacement or refund. Repair, replacement or refund are the sole and exclusive remedies for breach of warranty or any other legal theory
