TORQEEDO 1997-00 Solar Charging Cable Travel Ultralight
Important safety and operating information
To avoid damage to your battery and your solar module, observe the following instructions:
- Follow the instructions in the operating manual for your Torqeedo motor
- Be careful not to expose the battery to direct sunlight during charging, otherwise the battery could reduce the max. charging power
- Only use solar panels with MC4 type connectors
- Do not extend or shorten the cable
- Only use solar panels that correspond to the operating conditions of the cable and battery
- After use in salt water, wipe with a damp cloth or sponge – do not use detergents
- Make sure that the cable connections do not get wet or hang in water when they are not connected

Assembly and use
- Insert the plug of the solar charging cable into the charging socket of the battery and screw it in place
- Connect the MC4 plug-in connections of the solar charging cable with the MC4 plug-in connections of the solar module, observe polarity, see drawing, page 1
