SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Please read these instructions for use carefully before using the device and keep them for future reference.
2. Keep the device away from heat sources, direct sunlight, moisture (never immerse it in any liquid) and sharp edges.
3. Keep the device, plug and cord away from water or other liquids.
4. Never immerse the device in water or other liquids.
5. Periodically check the device and its cable for any damage.
6. Do not use the device when the cable is damaged, or after it malfunctions, or if it has been damaged in any way.
7. To ensure the safety of your children, please keep away from all packaging materials such as plastic bags, boxes, foil etc.
8. CAUTION : Do not allow babies and young children to play with the packaging materials. Risk of suffocation!
9. If you do not intend to use the device for a long time, remove the battery before storage to avoid a fluid leakage.
10. The material of the device is bamboo which should be used in a dry and ventilated environment and be protected from moisture.

HOW TO USE

POWER-ON AND RESET

1. When Power-On or/ and reset the device, LCDs time/ temperature/ humidity, after “beep” sound.
2. Time and calendar default 12:00 and 01/01/2016.
3. Alarm defaults: off
4. Sleep display mode default: off
5. Save mode default: off
6. Time format default: 12h
7. Temperature scales default: Celsius degree °C
8. Display mode default: DP-2
9. Brightness level default: L3 (high)
10. Press the “RESET” button to reset factory settings.

HOW TO SET

1. On normal display mode, press “SET” button for two seconds to enter the settings. The settings sequence is: Year➔ Month ➔ Date➔ 12H/24H ➔ Hour➔ Minute ➔All ➔ Al2 ➔ Al3 ➔ AL Weekend (alarm off) ➔ Return normal display mode.
2. Press “UP” and “DOWN” buttons to set year, month, date, 12h/24h, time and minute. Press the “SET” button to confirm and continue to next option.
3. If no buttons are pressed for 15 seconds, it will exit the settings and return to normal display mode.

ALARM SETTING

1. Choose the alarm (All, AL2, AL3) and use “UP” and “DOWN” buttons to turn them on (ON:Al or ON:A2 or ON:A3) or turn them off (–:Al –:A2–:A3). Press “SET” button and set the alarm time by pressing “UP” and “DOWN” buttons. Press “SET” button to confirm the setting and continue to next option.
2. The weekend alarm function turns alarms off automatically on the weekend while keeping the alarms on for the weekdays. Press “SET” button and following the alarm sequence, weekend alarm function displays. Press “UP” and “DOWN” buttons to “ON: E” to turn alarms on every day or”: E” to turn alarms on for weekdays and closed for weekends.
3. If no buttons are pressed for 15 seconds, it will exit the settings and return to normal display mode.

BRIGHTNESS SETTING

1. On normal display mode press the “SET” button for 3 seconds to enter into the brightness level setting.
2. Set the brightness level by pressing the “UP” and “DOWN” buttons. Brightness levels ll, L2,L3 ( low, medium, high).
3. If no buttons are pressed for 5 seconds, it will exit the settings and return to normal display mode.
4. Sleep display mode operates the display on the lowest brightness level (ll) from 18:00 to 6:59, and automatically operates at the highest brightness level (L3) from 7: 00 to 17: 59.

DISPLAY SETTING

1. On normal display mode press instantly “SET” button to enter into display settings.
2. Press “UP” and “DOWN” buttons to set the display format DP-1 or DP-2.
3. Setting DP-1 displays for 10 seconds. time, temperature and humidity; then displays for 5 seconds the date, year and humidity
4. Setting DP-2 displays time, temperature and humidity continuously.
5. If no buttons are pressed for 3 seconds, it will exit the settings and return to the normal display mode.

SAVE MODE SETTING

1. On normal display mode, press instantly “DOWN” button to enter and turn save mode on or off. While displays “ON SD” save mode is on; display”- – SD” save mode is off.
2. When save mode is on, LED displays will switch off after 15 seconds.
3. LED display will light up again with a sound over 80dB (i.e. by clapping hands)

TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY
On normal display mode, press instantly “UP” button to enter and set measurement unit °C or °F.

• Measuring temperature range: -20 °C to 50 °C
• Measuring humidity range: 20% – 95%

ON / OFF NIGHT LIGHT
To activate the night light, lightly press the touch button on the top of the device (where the FOS logo is printed). Press again to turn off the light.

POWER SUPPLY

• Battery powered 4 x AAA: DC6V (batteries not included)
• USB charger: (DC 5V) (USB cable included, USB charger not included) Power consumption (stand-by mode): <30uA (LED display off)
