Product Usage Instructions
Installation Instructions for Premium Nozzles – Large J Series Fountains:
- Before installing the new nozzle, ensure that the nozzle O-ring (A) is properly seated in its groove.
- Twist the nozzle clockwise (as viewed from the top) to lock the flanges in place on the top of the pump chamber by hand.
- Continue twisting until the nozzle flanges can move no further and are completely snug.
- Nozzles can be changed conveniently without removing the float or using any tools.
- If you find it difficult to twist the nozzle into place, you can apply dielectric grease to the nozzle O-ring for easier installation.
- For easy installation in the future, use the provided tool by snapping it onto the nozzle ridges as close to the base as possible. Leave the tool in place for future nozzle changes.
- The fern nozzle does not require a tool. Simply twist and lock it into place.
Retaining Clip Installation Instructions:
Note: The retaining clip is included in this kit to prevent possible
rotation of the nozzle when the fountain is running.
- If the nozzle ring is metal, position the clip with the side marked “up” facing upwards. If the nozzle ring is plastic, position the clip with the side marked “up” facing upwards.
- Insert the clip into one of the aligned gaps in the nozzle and ring.
- Twist the bottom of the clip over the ring.
- Snap the clip into place to secure it.

PREMIUM NOZZLES

NOTE: If it is difficult to twist the nozzle into place, dielectric
grease can be applied to the nozzle O-ring.

- Position the clip with this side up if the nozzle ring is plastic.
- Insert the clip into one of the aligned gaps in the nozzle and ring.
- Twist the bottom of the clip over the ring.
- Snap the clip into place.
