Droppity Host V4.2 is a universal LTE data-logging device that works with various Sensors.

Droppity Host V4.2 is supplied with the pre-installed Li-ion battery pack. The device is supplied with factory firmware that requires activation.

Peripherals connection
Connect external power plug to the 12V SOLAR PWR socket.
Connect 12C sensors to the device sockets called “Soil Sensor”and “Air Sensor” respectively.
Connect your RS485 to the socket called “RS-485″ (optional).
Device activation procedure

Start by scanning the QR code on the Droppity host with your smartphone;

If you don’t have the Droppity app installed, you’ll be redirected to Play Market (for Android) or App Store (for iOS) install page; Become a member

Install and open the Droppity app;

Log in with Google or ApplelD (only available on iOS devices);

If you don’t have an existing Droppity account, you’ll be asked to set up one by entering Company name.

After entering the company name, you’ll be redirected to the device onboarding flow with the device ID pre-filled. If you don’t see the screen below, try scanning the QR code again or entering device ID manually (contact Droppity support for extra assistance).

Allow access to the phone location for a clearer definition of the device’s location. Adjust the device’s location on the map.

Enter the device name (e.g. “corn 20 ha”).

Make sure the device is situated in a place with good LTE network coverage

Press the GSM\LTE button once. You should see the led on the button starts blinking.

The device will start the OTA update. This process may take from 3 to 5 minutes.

Device is now added and you should be able to check measurement indicators.

communications However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur
in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful
interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by
turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help
To maintain compliance with FCC’ s RF Exposure guidelines, This equipment should be installed and operated with minimum 20cm distance between the radiator and your body: Use only the supplied antenna.
