This product has been designed and manufactured to meet ANSI Z87.1 (in the
United States) , CSA Z94.3 (in Canada) and AS/NZS 1337.1 (in Australia and New
Zealand). Do not use this product without first referring to and understanding
ANSI Z87.1 (in the United States) or CSA Z94.3 (in Canada) or AS/NZS 1337.1
(in Australia and New Zealand), any local, state or federal regulations in the
respective country, and consulting with your safety supervisor or other safety
specialist to ensure that you are using the appropriate eye protection. The
safety eyewear only provides protection for the shielded area. Some operations
may require machine guards, goggles, face shields, special filter lenses or
other safety equipment. This product is not a substitute for machine guards
and other engineering controls. These safety glasses are intended to protect
against certain hazards that can damage the eye or impair vision. The level of
protection is determined by labeling on the glasses.
ATTENTION – Do not use this eyewear until a snug and secure fit has been
obtained. This eyewear should fit securely at all times of potential exposure
to hazards.
IMPORTANT – If these glasses are used in conjunction with a respirator,
make sure that the glasses to do not interfere with the seal of the respirator
to the wearer’s face.
Protective devices do not provide unlimited protection and SHOULD NOT be used against the following hazards:

- Welding, brazing, or cutting operations
- Do not use this product for any athletic games or recreational activities. Do not use this eyewear for paintball or simulated war activities.
INSPECTION
Before each use examine eyewear and replace it immediately if there is any sign of damage. If this eyewear has been scratched, damaged or has been subject to an impact, do not use. Discard and replace immediately (no spare parts available).
CLEANING
Clean the lenses with water or mild soapy water. Do not try to clean without
water as this could damage the lenses. Do not use ammonia, alkaline cleaners.
abrasive cleaning compounds or solvents when cleaning eyewear lenses. Use of
certain solvents may lower the impact resistance of the eyewear. When using
commercially available disinfectants on the safety eyewear, the product should
only be sprayed or wiped down with such agents. Do not submerge this eyewear
in disinfectants.
Clean the safety eyewear immediately if it comes into contact with chemicals.
Exposure to or contact with chemical vapors or liquids may cause surface
cracks or other damage. Please follow your employer’s or organization’s
procedures when disinfecting Adapt safety glasses.
STORAGE
see pictograms. When stored as intended, the product is not subject to aging.
SERVICE LIFE
The recommended service life is a maximum of two years from first use, depending on the intensity of use, frequency of use and wear caused by external factors; the date of first use should be recorded.
ADDITIONAL WARNINGS
- Materials that come into contact with the skin can cause allergic reactions to sensitive skin.
- Do not wear over prescription glasses, this can endanger the wearer due to impact.
- Do not modify this product in any way
- Color recognition may be affected
- Tinted lenses offer limited protection against sun glare or other light sources and should not be worn in welding, brazing, or cutting operations.
- Adapt Safety glasses provide the level of protections indicated herin but do not provide the same level of splash or droplet protection as goggles or face shields in a medical setting and should not be used for infection control purposes. Contact your employer’s infectious disease control department to determine if this product is appropriate for your intended application.
