Connecting Jabra Engage with Siemens OptiPoint Desk Phone
To have remote call control using your Jabra Engage headset with your Siemens OptiPoint 410, 420, 500, or 600 desk phone, follow these steps:
- Ensure all required components are present for remote call control to work.
- Plug the 1-sided end of the Jabra EHS cable (marked in blue) into the port of the OptiPoint acoustic adapter marked with a headset icon.
- Connect the 2-sided end of the Jabra EHS cable to the Jabra base as follows:
- Plug the RJ10 (small) plug into the Jabra base port marked with a blue phone icon.
- Plug the RJ45 (wide) plug into the Jabra base port marked with AUX.
- Perform a reset on the OptiPoint desk phone to activate the EHS function.
Configuring Your Headset for the First Time
If you are connecting your Jabra Engage 75 for the first time to a desk phone, follow these steps:
- Jabra Engage 75: Follow the onscreen setup wizard on the base.
- Jabra Engage 65: The initial setup is complete after connecting the cables.

+ HiPath phone system:
- HiPath 500 version 5 or later
- HiPath 1220 version 2.1 build 032 or later HiPath 2000 version 1.0 or later
- HiPath 3000 version 3 SMR 14 or later HiPath 3000 version 4 SMR 7 or later
- HiPath 4000 version 1 or later

- If any of the components required are missing, the remote call control will not work.
To connect your headset:
