• IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
  WARNING – When using this product, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
  1. This product must be installed in accordance with the applicable installation code by a person familiar with the constructions and operations of the product and the hazards involved.
  2. Check and adhere to all local rules and regulations when installing.
  3. To avoid electric shock hazard, disconnect power before installation.
  4. Do not use the product that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified products may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
  5. Indoor use only. The light is certified for use in damp and dry locations.
  6. Suitable for operation in ambient not exceeding 113°F(45°C).
  7. Risk of fire. Minimum of 90°C supply conductor should be used. Consult a qualified electrician to ensure correct branch circuit conductor.
  8. Access above the ceiling required inherently protection.
  9. Do not use the light near flammable, explosive, or reactive substances.
  10. Do not attempt to open, rewire or reconfigure any components of the light system. It will void the warranty and could cause severe injury or death.
  11. Do not disassemble the product. Take it to a qualified service person when service or repair is required. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of fire or injury.
  12. Have servicing performed by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the product is maintained.

• CLEANING
  Turn off the light. Use a clean, soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the light. Please be
  aware of getting moisture or damage in any openings.

Open the box, lay all the components on the floor to identify them, then check your components against the packing list.

SPECIFICATIONS:

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1
Turn off the power before installation. Remove the existing light fixture if applicable. Determine the location and necessary hole cutout diameter with the supplied table, and cut the ceiling hole with the listed approximate diameter.
Hole Size
For 4″ light: 4 21/64” (110 mm)
For 6” light: 6 19/64” (160 mm)

STEP 2
Open the junction box’s cover. Pass the electrical supply cables through the hole. Connect the LED driver cables to the electrical supply cables using the provided 3 connectors.

STEP 3
Insert the driver through the ceiling hole and secure it. Connect the light fixture power cable to the driver. Select your color temperature with the CCT switch.

STEP 4
Push the spring-loaded clips upwards into the ceiling hole. Release the clips and the fixture will be pulled flush to the ceiling.

STEP 5
Turn on the power. Make sure the light fixture can work well.

• What Is Covered
  Fondwell LED Recessed Lights are warranted against defects in materials and craft for five (5) years from the original date of purchase. During the warranty period, Fondwell will either repair or replace any covered defective product. Within the first 30  days, Fondwell will bear all costs associated with the repair, replacement, and return of the faulty product. After 30 days, the customer will assume responsibility for shipping the defective product back to Fondwell for the remainder of the warranty period.

• What Is Not Covered
  (1) This warranty does not cover any damage, deterioration, malfunction resulting from any alteration, modification, improper or unreasonable use or maintenance, misuse, abuse, neglect, exposure to excess moisture, fire, lightning, power surges, or other  acts of nature.
  (2) This warranty does not cover any damage, deterioration, malfunction resulting from the installation, removal, unauthorized tampering, repairs attempted by anyone unauthorized by Fondwell to make such repairs. Any other cause which does not relate  directly to a defect in materials and quality of this product is not covered.

  Fondwell is so confident in the performance of our cutting edge products that we offer a full 30 days money-back guarantee. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will gladly accept a return and provide a refund.

• How To Obtain Warranty Service
  To enforce the rights under this warranty, the purchaser must notify Fondwell of a warranty claim by sending an email to support@fondwell.com. At this time, the purchaser will be called upon to provide proof of purchase. The Fondwell representative will  either attempt to assist in trouble-shooting, request photos showing the defect, and provide more detailed return instructions. Upon receipt and review of the defective product, Fondwell will repair or replace, and return within five (5) business days. To  obtain refund service, upon receipt and review of the returned product, Fondwell will issue return credit within three (3) business days.

**** This symbol indicates that this product shall not be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable collection point for mame the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
