When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

Always operate the product from a power source of the same voltage, frequency and rating as indicated on the product identification plate.
Remove the unit from its packaging and check to make sure it is in good condition before using.
Do not let children play with parts of the packaging (such as plastic bags).
Close supervision is necessary when the product is used by or near children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities. Do not allow children to use it as a toy.
Do not operate any product with a damaged cord or plug, or after the product malfunctions, or is dropped or appears damaged in any way. Contact Customer Service for repair or replacement.
Before unplugging the power cord, be sure to turn the power off. When touching the unit, be sure your hands are dry to prevent electrical shock.
Never install the unit where it is exposed to direct sunlight, excessive moisture/rain, dust and lack of ventilation near any heat sources.
Avoid making contact with moving parts. Never insert fingers, pencils or any other objects through the guards whenever the power plug is connected, especially while the unit is working.
Always place the unit on a stable, level surface when operating to prevent theunit from overturning. Do not run the power cord under carpet. Do not cover the power cord with throw rugs or runners. Route the power cord away from walking paths so that nobody can trip over it. The cable should be kept away from heat, sharp edges and oil.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the product or flexible cord to rain, moisture or any liquid other than those necessary for correct operation of the product.
This product should not be used in the immediate vicinity of water, such as bathtub, sink, swimming pool etc. where the likelihood of immersion or splashing could occur.
Switch off and unplug from outlet when not in use, and before cleaning. Remove by grasping the plug – do not pull on the cord.
Be sure that no other high current appliances are plugged into the same circuit as your air purifier, as an overload can occur.
Avoid the use of an extension cord as the extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of fire.
Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
Do not use outdoors. FOR INDOOR USE ONLY.
Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on.
Do not cover the grill, or operate in close proximity to curtains etc.
The use of attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by the product distributor may cause personal or property hazards or injuries.
This product is intended for normal domestic/household use only.
Never leave a working appliance unattended, even for a short period of time –always switch it off. Please unplug the appliance from the power supply when not in use.
Use this unit as described in this manual. Any other uses, not recommended by the manufacturer, may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons and may void the warranty
.This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Before use, remove all packaging materials and inspect the unit for any damage. If there appears to be any damage, please take the unit back to place of purchase for a replacement.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Review these Operating Instructions before operating your unit.

Make sure the switch is OFF(0). Insert wall adapter into an AC outlet and wait until green light turns on, indicating that your adapter has power.
Insert the DC input plug into the jack at the bottom right side of the unit. Make sure it is inserted securely before turning on the power switch.
Two replaceable Filters are already installed in the base of the unit.
Running your unit 24/7 is suggested for maximum eff ectiveness.
As long as the blue light can be seen your unit is working properly.

THREE SELECTION SWITCH

Th ere are three operational controls on the SilentPURE Air™.
Turn the switch to “1” and the Silent Mode is enabled. Turn it to “2” and the White Noise function is activated. Turn it to “3” for the Turbo function.
Turn the switch to OFF(0) aft er use.

REPLACING FILTERS

To remove or insert the fi lters (Fig.1), turn the power switch to OFF(0) and unplug the cord from the wall
Lay your unit on its back and slide out either fi lter for cleaning or replacing. No tools needed. (Fig.2)
To insert a new fi lter, reverse this movement. Be sure the fi lters are inserted far enough into the unit that it is level when you turn it right-side up. (Fig.3)
Turn the power switch to ON(1).

GENERAL MAINTENANCE

Filter Maintenance
To extend fi lter life, turn the power switch to OFF(0), remove both fi lters and vacuum front and back (twice monthly is recommended). Clean the Front Grill with a damp cloth only. DO NOT vacuum the Front Grill. Replace the two fi lters at 6 months or sooner if conditions are harsh.

A Word About Filter Service Life for any Air Cleaner

All air fi lter systems eventually fi ll up with particles and contaminants. Th eir effi ciency goes from 100% capture capability to zero. Filters get clogged more quickly near a fireplace, in a smoker’s home, or in high pollen, high mold or very dusty surroundings. Most air purifier companies do not rate their filters for continuous 24/7 operation at the highest speed. This allows them to claim a longer service life because less air is processed when operating at medium to low speed. SilentPURE Air™ always operates at maximum air flow speed and with Filters, has virtually 100% air cleansing ability.

ABOUT SILENTPURE AIR™
ZERO FILTRATION
An average adult’s normal breathing is 12 inhalations per minute – about 6 litres of air. Every hour we inhale 12.7 cubic feet of air, including its pollutants.
Billions of microscopic particles that are at rest in carpeting, drapes, furnishings, etc. are stirred up into the breathing zone by high speed fans and human or pet activity. Additional pollution – from traffic, industry, etc. – enters through open windows and as we pass in and out through doors.

Why would you want less than maximum efficiency?
Standard air cleaners must run at their maximum (noisiest) settings to produce top results. Tests to establish their “air exchange ratings” are done at the highest, noisiest, most costly fan or turbo settings. If standard air cleaners are turned down to bearable noise levels, they lose most of their Air Exchange Rate and do not clean the air very effectively. The SilentPURE Air™ does not have these limitations and uniquely, always runs on maximum effectiveness. With its ElectroDynamic advanced filtration, SilentPURE Air™ captures nearly 100% of pollutants and airborne contaminants thereby lowering the risk of infectious, toxic or allergenic conditions.

APPLICATIONS

SilentPURE Air™ substantially lowers the concentration of bacteria, viruses, mold spores, allergens, pollen, pet dander and more. With your SilentPURE Air™ nearby, you can help prevent the barrage of these pollutants from attacking your immune system, because cleaner air lowers the risk of health issues.

FUNCTIONAL STAGES:

Airflow is created by an ElectroDynamic air motor (not a power hungry fan). This proprietary system operates at full capacity on only 45 Watts.
In every 24-hour period of operation, hundreds of millions of invisible particles are pulled into and captured by the anti-microbial ZEPA-1 Filter.
Air then passes through the high efficiency ZEPA-2 Filter for further purification.
At the very front of the unit is a Permanent Ozone Filter that converts Purified air is silently diffused into your environment, helping you sleep
restfully and breathe with confidence

TROUBLESHOOTING

You are not sure if your SilentPURE Air™ is running.

Check that your power supply is plugged into an active circuit and has a green ON light. If there is no green light, call Service.
Check that your wall adapter is securely plugged into the unit.
Check that the ON/OFF switch is ON (l).
Check that the blue light is ON.
If all of the above checks out, but there is no power to the unit, call Service

Your unit is crackling, ticking or buzzing.

Turn the power off and invert your unit 6 times or more to perform internal cleaning.
Remove both filters and vacuum well. Sweep your vacuum from left to right and up and down.
DO NOT vacuum the front grill. Only wipe with a damp cloth.
Still noisy? Try a different wall outlet (occasionally this matters).

There is a slight static discharge.
Reduce static build-up by making sure your unit is at least 12″ from any computer, electronics or metal.

My unit shut off.
Turn the On/Off switch to OFF (O). Invert the unit 6 times or more, allowing the bead-cleaning system to scrape the particulate from the air motor wires, and then turn back ON (l). It is important to perform a bead-cleaning about once week.
