User Guide RollAble Ramp
The RollAble Ramp is designed to allow wheelchairs, scooters and trolleys to overcome steps, kerbs and thresholds. Please note the ramp is not suitable for solid wheels, for example wheels found on flightcases. The RollAble ramp can also be used as a bridge.
Safety
This RollAble ramp is designed to allow wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, ATV’s, motorbikes, goods and trolleys to overcome heights. It is designed to be used at a smooth gradient, please refer to our website for the maximum load height or contact our team if you are unsure. The maximum load height is based on what you are loading.
Please note the RollAble ramp is not suitable for solid wheels such as those found on flightcases or pallet trucks. The ramp should not be used to load items with a tyre diameter of under 20cm.
Do not exceed the maximum load height or capacity.
Please ensure to regularly check the nuts on the ramp are tight prior to use
and tighten them with the tools provided where required.
If the ramp becomes damaged in anyway please do not use the ramp.
Take additional care when using the ramp in wet/damp or icy weather conditions.
Warranty
The Ramp People offer a 1-year warranty with the RollAble ramp.
Maximum capacity
The maximum capacity of the ramp is 453kg.
Maximum gradient
Maximum recommended gradient for loading goods such as trolleys, mowers or
unoccupied scooters: 1:3.3
Maximum recommended gradient for occupied assisted manual wheelchairs: 1:6
Maximum recommended gradient for occupied unassisted manual wheelchairs,
electric wheelchairs, scooters and walkers: 1:8
Please note, a longer ramp will of course mean a smoother gradient
We provide the RollAble ramp to you assembled at your chosen ramp length. Below details the parts of the ramps incase you wish to later amend the ramp.
RollAble Ramp Parts & Accessories
Tools provided as a standard with the ramp to allow you to remove or later add sections if you require

Allan key and wrench is provided with all ramps to allow you to add or remove sections when required
Figure 2 – Fixings
Fixings used to hold the ramp together, if you wish to reduce the ramp length you will need to use the allen key and wrench to unscrew the parts and remove a section.

The ramps are made up of various sections, each section is circa 13cm by your chosen width. If you wish to reduce the ramp length you can use the allen key and spanner to remove these sections. Additional sections can also be purchased if you wish to extend your ramp length.
Figure 4 – Anti-pinch covers
Anti-pinch covers are provided on both sides of the RollAble ramp, we recommend using these at all times. If you wish to remove a section of the ramp you will also need to remove the relevant anti-pinch cover.

A black strap is provided with all ramps and we recommend using this when the ramp is stored. To use simply roll the ramp up and place this around the ramp. Clip the black strap around the ramp to hold it shut.

A pair of support legs are provided with ramps designed to be used at heights
of 50cm or above, such as ramp lengths of 11ft.
The support legs are adjustable at heights between 47cm – 63cm. The legs
include fixings to secure these to the ramp.
The support legs can be purchased separately if required.
Figure 7 – Fixing Plate and screws
Fixing plates are available for those who wish to secure the ramp to the step. This is an additional purchase and not included with the ramp.

Wheels are available as an additional purchase. These are provided with
fixings to secure them to the ramp.

Setting Up The Ramp
Unpacking the ramp
This RollAble ramp is provided assembled at your chosen length. Please unroll the ramp ready for use. Please take care when rolling or unrolling the ramp as to not catch your fingers or clothing in the ramp.
We recommend checking the fixings on the ramp are tight and secure prior to use. For longer lengths you may need to attach the support legs where the load height exceeds 50cm.
Use
The first two sections of the ramp (circa 2 x 13cm sections – see blue arrows)
should rest on the step.
Ensure to rest the ramp on a solid, flat area and check it is secure prior to
use.
Following use we suggest the ramp is rolled for storage and clipped shut using
the black safety strap. When carrying the ramp please hold the ramp using the
carry handles (See green arrow).
Adding Support Legs
For longer lengths, a pair of support legs are provided. These can be adjusted to heights between 47cm – 63cm. To adjust the length simply press the buttons and pull the legs up or down to extend/reduce the length.
To attached the support legs to the ramp you will need to use the allan key and spanner in figure 1.
Utilise the allan key and spanner to unscrew the ramp.
Once the fixings are removed you will have two separate sections
Utilise the fixings provided with the leg kit to attach it to the ramp. Ensure to tighten the parts with the allen key and spanner.
Once secure, put the ramp in place and check it is safe to use.
