CONNECT BATTERY FIRST

HOW TO WIRE YOUR SOLAR CONTROLLER?

1. (Controller terminal side) Turn the adjusting screw counterclockwise until the plate inside terminal moves downward.
2. (wire)Please peel off the coating of the cable tip by about 8 to 10 mm
3. Insert the wire into the new opening between the plate and the”top” of the terminal hole.
4. When turning the adjuster clockwise, the plate moves upward and crushes the wire in the hole of the terminal.
5. Make sure all connections going into and from the solar controller are tight.

CONNECT PV

NOTE: This controller only charge battery when Solar panel voltage higher than battery voltage. Please make sure PV voltage is higher than battery voltage.

When Wiring, Please

1. Make sure your battery must be at least 60% charged prior to connecting to solar controller.
2. Always connect and turn on your battery first! Wire your PV after LCD screen power on.
3. Never connect your PV array to the solar controller when LCD OFF.
4. Careful your input power and voltage does not exceed the solar controller’s max value.
5. Always connect battery first, then solar panel.
   

Important: During the operation of the controller, heat will be generated at the wiring terminal, incorrect wiring will cause safety hazards.

Common solar controller charging is from high voltage to low voltage, please make sure solar panel voltage is higher than battery voltage, otherwise it cannot be charged.

DO NOT

1. Don’t put wire under the terminal’s plate.
2. Don’t Put two or more wire in one terminal, each terminal only accept one.
3. Don’t exposed copper outside the terminal; (The exposed copper wire needs to be tightly and completely connected to the terminal.) 4.The wiring must be tight and not loose.
