Description
The AI8001 is a 2.0 CH Mini Hi-Fi System with outstanding audio quality. It features a CD player with MPEG II compressed audio technology. The system is equipped with various inputs including A-B Line In, EQ, SD, and USB for versatile entertainment possibilities.

- This appliance must not be used by persons (including children) with physical or mental impairments or by persons with insufficient experience and knowledge unless they are under supervision or have been instructed about the operation of the appliance by the person responsible for their safety.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Installation location
Leave sufficient space around the appliance of at least 5 cm from any
wall/obstacle to ensure proper ventilation and prevent the appliance from
overheating. The following places are not suitable installation locations for
the appliance:
- an unstable location
- a location near a heat source or in direct sunlight.
- in a wet or dusty environment
Warning
Do not operate the appliance in a rainy or humid environment to prevent an
electrical shock or another accident.
Cleaning and maintenance
- Use a soft cloth or cotton dipped in a neutral solution to clean the appliances’ surface. Do not use the type of cloth that you use for washing dishes or aggressive chemical agents.
Before moving the appliance
- Before moving the appliance to a different location, please take the disc out of the appliance so that the disc and appliance will not be damaged.
Storm
- If the appliance is not working properly during a storm, please disconnect the plug from the power socket and reinsert it after a minute.
Do not drop small items or liquid into the appliance
- If you find small items or a liquid inside the appliance, you see smoke or smell an odor, immediately disconnect the appliance from the power grid. Send the appliance to an authorized service center.
Repacking the appliance
- When sending the appliance by a transport company, use the original packaging to prevent its damage during transport.

Every disc has certain characteristics based on how it was produced. The
symbols below represent certain characteristics:

Disc care
- The CD contains high-density compressed data and requires careful handling
- Always hold the disc with your fingers in such a way that one finger holds the disc in its center and the thumb holds the outer edge of the disk. Do not touch the surface of the disc.
- Do not bend or put pressure on the disc. Do not subject it to direct sunlight or sources of heat.
- Store disks in a cupboard in a vertical position and a dry environment.

- Clean the disc using a soft, dry, clean cloth. Wipe the surface gently, always in the direction from the center to the outer edge of the disc.

Notes:
The remote control directly emits an infrared beam. Make sure that when
entering IR commands, the remote control is pointing derectly at the infrared
receiver. If there is an obstacle between the remote control and the receiver,
the receiver will not respond to the commands sent by the remote control. The
receiver may not work correctly if it is subject to direct sunlight or
artificial light (fluorescent or stroboscopic light). In such a case, change
the direction of the light or move the appliance to a different location.

Connect the speakers to speaker output terminals with their attached speaker
cables (red for +, black for -)
GETTING STARTED
Inserting batteries into the remote control
- Remove the battery compartment cover
- Insert 2× AAA batteries into the respective compartment
- Make sure that you have inserted the batteries correctly according to the polarity +/- marked on the inside of the battery compartment.
- When replacing batteries, replace both batteries at the same time. Do not combine new and old batteries, this will reduce the operating time of the remote control.
- Take the batteries out of the remote control if you expect that you will not be using it for an extended period of time
Switching the player on
- Press the [STANDBY] button on the front panel or the remote to turn on the CD player
Inserting a disc
- Press the [OPEN / CLOSE] Button on the front panel or the remote to open or close the disc tray. Place a disc onto the disc tray with the label facing upwards and close the disc tray.
Automatic playback
- After inserting into the disc drive, the initial data will be loaded, and only then will automatic playback commence.
Note: When a disc containing MP3 data is inserted into the disc drive, the initial data takes a longer time to load.
Disc problem messages

- The player is equipped with software that automatically recognizes the quality of the disc. If the player assesses the disc to be bad or damaged, can play it with reduced sound quality or stop its playback depending on the extent to which the disc is damaged.

BLUETOOTH

BLUETOOTH FUNCTION:
The following buttons are used in tuner mode. -
SOURCE: Press this button, and switch to Bluetooth mode.
Enable Bluetooth on your audio device (For example a smartphone)and search for available
Bluetooth connections. select the ” AIWA MCD60 ” from the list. Once paired an audible sound is heard through the speakers. -
PLAY/PAUSE : Press this button, play, and pause the Bluetooth song.
Press the “PLAY/PAUSE” button and the hold will disconnect the Bluetooth function with your mobile phone. -
Next: Press this button to play the next Bluetooth song.

PREV: Press this button to play the previous Bluetooth song.

STOP: Press this button to stop playing the Bluetooth song.
TROUBLESHOOTING
In the event of problems with the system and before taking it to an authorized service centre, please check the following:

No power supply
| • please check that the power cord is inserted into a working power socket
• please check that the system is turned on
The remote control doesn’t work| • please check that the main power button on the system is in the “On” position
The appliance does not playback
| • no disc: insert a disc
• the disc was inserted upside-down. Insert the disc with the label facing upwards
• the disc is restricted to a certain region and it cannot be played in this player
• incorrect disc format for this type of player
• If the disc is damaged or dirty, clean the disc or replace it with a new one
• moisture may condense inside the player. Take the disc out and
leave the system turned on for 2 hours
Failure
| • press and hold the standby mode button (Stand by) for 5 seconds. The system will turn itself off
• if the system locks up, disconnect the power supply for 30 minutes. Reconnect the system to the power supply after 30 minutes.
The system should be restarted
Playback of MP3 discs, no sound or hissing
| • if the recordings are made in various formats in combination with the MP3 format and are stored on the same disc, the player can play various recording formats (apart from MP3) with hissing or it may not be able to play them at all.
• check whether all the files on the disc are in MP3 format. Skip the
file and try to play different files
The remote control is not working
| • remove the obstacles between the remote control and the player
• point the remote control at the receiver sensor on the player
• check whether the batteries are inserted correctly into the remote control
• replace the batteries in the remote control
