VPNs

  • In the previous releases, intermittently, the local firewall on the endpoint blocked incoming DPD packets on the SRX Series Firewall, leading to unexpected termination of VPN connection. You may notice this behavior when certain timers of the local firewall are applied to the endpoint and DPD is enabled on the SRX Series Firewall. Starting this release, Juniper Secure Connect ensures that the SRX Series Firewall sends DPD messages to the application as long as the application is in connected state. VPN session closes only when the Juniper Secure Connect application disconnects.
