How to Use Your Camera
Installing and changing the microSD Card
- Put the microSD card backwards to the screen, insert to the card slot.
- Press the microSD card inward to take out the card.
- It is generally recommended to use a new microSD card or one that has been formatted prior to use. This helps improve compatibility with the camera.
- To format a microSD card, press Menu Button and choose Format in ❹ Camera Settings and select “Yes”. An alert “Format Completed” will appear on the screen when formatting is completed.
Please note: formatting will delete all pictures stored on the microSD card. If you do not want to delete pictures, please either download them to your computer or use a fresh card.
Installing and changing the Paper Roll
- Toggle the “Paper Roll Compartment Release Lever” upwards, the Paper Roll Compartment Cover will pop out.
- Install the Paper Roll as shown (A), with the loose end closest to the Lens. Allow a small amount of the paper to stick out so that it will feed into the system properly.
- Replace Paper Roll Compartment lid until it clicks into place (B)
Please note
- If the paper can be discharged normally during printing while nothing shows on the paper, please check whether the paper is placed in the correct direction.
Charging And Power
Charging your camera
- Open the USB Port/microSD Card Cover.
- Connect a Mini USB Cable to the camera, then to a 5V 1A-2A wall charger.
- The camera will not print while charging.
- The Indicator Light will illuminatered during charging, and shut off once fully charged.
Turning your camera on and off
- Press and hold the Display Power Button. Indicator light will turn blue. Camera is turned on.
- Press and hold the Display Power Button again. Indicator light will turn off. Camera is turned off.
- Long press the “on/off button” to switch the front camera to take pictures.
Please note: If there is no operation within 5 minutes when camera stays turning on, the camera will automatically turn off.
Buttons and Functions
Menu (Menu/ Back Button)
After camera is turned on, press Menu/Back Button to Main Menu, press Left Button or Right Button , Up Button or Down Button to switch between ❶Photo Mode, ❷Playback Mode, ❸Audio Player, ❹Camera Settings, ❺Print Settings, ❻Video Mode. Press Capture/Confirm Button to related modes or settings. Press Menu/Back Button again to return to main Menu. Please note: the camera defaults to the camera mode when it is turned on.
Photo Mode
- Press Capture Button , camera shoots photo without printing. The photo will be saved in card.
- Press Print Button , the camera takes photo and prints out instantly, and the photo will be stored in the card.
- Press Up Button or Down Button to switch between Continuous Shooting On/Off, Color Effects and Photo Frames.
- Long press the “on/off button” to switch the front camera to take pictures
- Press Playback Button to review photo or video. See ❷Playback Mode for details.
Playback Mode
- Press Up Button to or Down Button review photos/videos.
- When reviewing photo, press Print Button to print it out instantly.
- When reviewing video, press Capture Button to playback video and press again to cease playing.
- Press the Playback Button and select “Yes” or “No”. Press Capture/ Confirm Button to confirm selection.
Audio Player
- Press Left Button or Right Button to switch between songs.
- Press Up Button to turn up volume, press Down Button to turn down volume.
Please note
- A song is built into the camera. For playing more audios, please copy the audios (MP3 format) to the mp3 folder in the microSD card.
Camera Settings
Press Left or Right Button, Up or Down Button to switch between the settings, which are Photo Resolution⟶ Date/Time Stamp⟶ Date/Time⟶ Volume⟶ Language⟶ Factory Default Setting⟶ Firmware Version⟶ Format⟶ Video Resolution. Press Capture/Confirm Button to enter a setting. After entering a setting, press Left or Right Button, Up or Down Button to switch between options, and press Capture/Confirm Button to select.
Please note
- When setting Date/Time, press Up Button or Down Button to select date & Time.
- Press Left Button or Right Button to switch settings. Press Capture/ Confirm Button to complete setting.
Print Settings
- Press Up or Down Button to select Print Density or Print mode. Press the Capture/Confirm Button to select.
- Print Density: Press Up or Down Button to view options. Press Capture/Confirm Button to select.
- Print Mode: Press Up or Down Button to view options. Press Capture/Confirm Button to select.
Please note
- Print Density adjusts the density of prints. Print Mode adjusts the fineness of prints.
Video Mode
- Press Capture Button , camera starts shooting, press Capture Button again to complete.
- Press Playback Button to review photo or video. See ❷Playback Mode for details.
Camera and Computer Connection
Inserting a microSD card to the camera, connecting the camera to a computer
with an USB cable.
Open the microSD card disk, there will be “DCIM” and “mp3” folders:
- DCIM: The photos and videos are saved in this folder.
- mp3: Copy the audio files (in MP3 format) to this folder, then these audios can be played in the camera.
