Teglu 4345 Security Smart Lock

Introduction

IMPORTANT : Read the instructions carefully before operating the appliance and keep them for future reference.

Using Precautions

1. Unbind the door lock before returning. Please make sure that all data has been removed and the device is no longer linked to any account or to any other device for your private information security.
2. There may be network delays when connecting the door lock to the mobile phone or remotely requesting unlocking. Please ensure that the Wi-Fi is stable to connect the smartphone and the door lock.
3. The initial password of the factory administrator is “123456”, and it will be deleted automatically after entering a new administrator information.
4. Always make sure your door is securely closed and locked when you leave your house to prevent unwanted entry.
5. Do not use any inappropriate tools that can cause damages or malfunction to your lock.
6. Non professionals are not allowed to disassemble the smart lock. Please operate under the guidance of technical personal.
7. Please keep your Access Codes safe. Restrict access to the back panel of your smart lock and check your settings regularly to ensure Access Codes have not been changed without your knowledge.
8. Always dispose of used batteries according to your local laws. DO NOT BURN.

Installation

Search for this door lock on Amazon product page and watch the installation video.

1. Drill a hole on the door according to the size of the installation paper gauge.
   (the hole of strike plate and strike box shall be opened at the corresponding position on the door frame)

2. Install the latch with 2 screws.
   

3. Insert exterior handle through the latch and remember to bring the face marked with the arrow to the top
   

4. Install the back rosette to the surface of the interior door. Plug the cable into the socket.
   

5. Install the batteries, please note the positive and negative poles of the battery.

6. Install the interior handle to the back rosette with the arrow pointing upwards.
   

7. Install the door strike box and strike plate on the door frame.

8. After rotating the knob, check whether the locking and unlocking of the lock are normal. If not, please adjust the square shaft with arrow to the top.

9. Wake up the lock. If the screen is not on, check whether the cable is plugged in.

10. Press the factory reset button for 5 seconds and input “#” to initialize the lock. Any fingerprint or factory password can open the lock, and debug whether the direction of locking and unlocking is correct. If the direction is not correct, input 888# on the screen to adjust the direction.

11. Use the key to check whether the lock can lock and unlock normally.

Set Your Door Lock

Administrator Setting
In the initial state, the administrator password is “123456”. To set up your own smart lock, administrator information such as IC card, fingerprint should be added first. Each lock can be set up to 9 administrators.

NOTE : Administrator information must be set before subsequent operations. The first new administrator password set by the door lock must not be deleted.

Connect the door lock with Tuya APP
Download Tuya APP and register an account, login
Adding device “Security& Video Surveillance”, “Lock (Wi-Fi)” , Select Wi-Fi & Enter the password, “Confirm the indicator is blinking ”, Choose “EZ Mode” , Adding device , Done.

Note : The time of the door lock and smart phone must be synchronized before the following operations are performed.

Operate on the lock

Note 1 : The door lock must be set a new administrator password (not the preset original password 123456 from factory).

At the same time, operating on the Tuya APP is as followed. When you see the option “5” flashes, choose” EZ Mode” and it will pop out the interface “ Adding device…”. Please click “+” and “Done” shown in the picture 6.

Note : Please make sure your fingers are clean from dirt and oils before scanning your fingerprint. Make sure the sensor is also clean by taking a soft cloth and wiping the surface. Fingerprint Scanning Directions(Continued) as follows.

Other user setting

NOTE : Administrator information must be set before subsequent operations. The first new administrator password set by the door lock must not be deleted.

Open Passage mode (normally open mode)
Enter the administrator password and press “5#”. Normally open mode was set.
To turn off the mode, enter the administrator password and press “#”.

Factory Reset

Operate on the lock

Push the Reset Button
Push the Reset Button (at the back of exterior Assembly) for around 3 seconds until the screen counts down to 1, press “#” to confirm.

System Setting

Left-right Reversible Handle
Press 888# to switch left open right open, left open left row light on, right open right row light on.

• Left inner door: stand outside, facing the door, the door hinge is on the left, and the door is pushed inward.
• Right inside door: stand outside, facing the door, the door hinge is on the right, and the door to push inward.
• Left door door: stand outside, facing the door, the door hinge is on the left, and open the door to pull out.
• Right outside door: stand outside, facing the door, the door hinge is on the right, and open the door to pull out.

Require the access remotely
Wake up smart lock interface and press “9#” to request unlocking. After receiving the unlocking request, the app will automatically pop up “Is it allowed to open the door remotely this time?”, which maybe delay for 5 minutes due to the system synchronizing. And then click “Confirm” to unlock the lock remotely.
