- Never hit the container against the surface to loosen the ingredients
- Remove the container from the base and use a rubber spatula to remove thick mixtures from the bottom.
- DO NOT shake or rattle container whilst in use
- Never remove the container before the machine has come to a complete stop.
- Never start the motor before the container is in place
- If you detect a change in the sound of the machine, inspect for loose blade assembly or damaged blades. With caution and care, replace blades if necessary.
- DO NOT wash in the dishwasher.
USING THE MIX MASTER
-
Place liquid and soft food in the container first, solid items last. Thawed or partially thawed fruit is recommended
-
High speed is recommended for heavy-duty blending. You may also want to break the food into smaller pieces for quicker processing.
-
Set the container on the motor base by aligning it over the centering pad anchored to the base (motor must be completely stopped before positioning container.) Containers should not be used for hard, dry materials.
-
Always operate the machine with the complete two-part locked lid in place. When processing hot liquid, DO NOT use a non-latching or one-piece lid
-
For blenders with variable speed settings, select the desired speed. Most food should be blended at HIGH speed.
-
Start heavy or thick food at LOW speed and then switch to a HIGH speed once mixture beings processing.
-
Start at LOW speed if the blender is full to the maximum line or if you have placed hot liquid or food in the blender.
-
If your mixture stops circulating, it likely gets trapped by an air bubble. You can either use the mixing rod through the lid, or stop the motor and remove the container and stir the mixture from the sides of the container using a rubber spatula
Note: Do not use metal utensils as it may damage the container. -
After the blender has been stopped, let the blade come to a complete stop before removing the lid and/or container from the motor base.
Warning: If you detect any change in the sound of the machine, or a distinct hard object comes into contact with the blades, do not serve the drink. Inspect your blade assembly for loss or nicked parts. -
Remove the container, pour garnish and serve the drink.
-
Turn power OFF and/or unplug the machine when left unattended
