Using Instructions
Switch display parameters
In the normal interface, short press SW to switch the display on the lower line of thedisplay screen, and the display content is switched between current A, power W, capacity Ah, and time h. Long press the SW button to switch the display on the upper line of the display, and the display content is switched between the input voltage IN and the output voltage OUT.
Set the output voltage
Short press the U/I button in the normal interface to enter the interface for setting voltage and constant current. You can see that a certain digit of the set output voltage is flashing, turn the rotary encoder left and right to adjust the value. Short press the rotary encoder to select which bit to set the output voltage. After the setting is completed, short press the U/I button twice to return to the normal interface. Or it will automatically return to the normal interface after stopping the operation for 10 seconds.
Set the constant current (the module output maximum current)
Short press the U/I button in the normal interface to enter the interface for setting voltage constant current. Then short press the U/I button to switch to setting the constant current value, you can see that a certain bit of the constant current value is flashing, turn the rotary encoder left and right to adjust the value. Short press the rotary encoder to choose which bit to set the constant current value. After the setting is completed, short press the U/I button to exit the setting voltage constant current interface and return to the normal interface. Or it will automatically return to the normal interface after stopping the operation for 10 seconds.
Set the default ON/OFF status
Press and hold the U/I button in the normal interface to enter the parameter setting interface. You can see that it displays OPEN OFF or OPEN ON. OPEN OFF means that the output is turned off by default when power is turned on, and OPEN ON means that the output is turned on by default when power is turned on. Long press the rotary encoder to switch between two states. After the setting is completed, long press the U/I button to return to the normal interface.
Set the threshold value for protection opening
Press and hold the U/I button in the normal interface to enter the parameter setting interface. Short press the SW button until the protection parameters you want to set appear. LUP—under-voltage protection threshold; OUP—over- voltage protection threshold; OCP— over-current protection threshold; OPP — overpower protection threshold; OAP — overcapacity protection threshold; OHP overtime protection threshold; OTP — over-temperature protection threshold. Short press the rotary encoder to select which bit of the protection parameter you want to set. Long press the rotary encoder to set the protection parameters on or off (only timeout protection and overcapacity protection can be set to on/off, and other protection parameters are on by default.). Rotate the encoder left and right to make the value up or down. After the setting is completed, long press the U/I button to return to the normal interface.
Calibrate voltage and current
In the normal interface, press and hold the U/I button to enter the parameter setting interface. Short press the SW button until the CAL interface appears. The CAL+IN+V is the calibration input voltage interface; the CAL+OUT+V is the calibration output voltage interface; the CAL+OUT+A is the calibration output current interface. Rotate the encoder left and right to adjust the value. After the adjustment is completed, press and hold the rotary encoder to confirm the adjustment is completed, and the parameter value is no longer flashing at this time. Long press the U/I button to return to the normal interface.
Note: In order to ensure the accuracy of the calibration, the calibration voltage can can only be started with a voltage above 12V; the calibration current can only be started with a current above 1A.
Attention
- It is forbidden to short circuit the input IN- with the output OUT-, otherwise the constant current function will not working!
- Please ensure that the power of the power supply is always greater than the power required by the output load!
- If you want the module to output at full load, the input voltage must be above 8V. When the input voltage is 5V, the output power is about 15W. The maximum current value of the module is 4A, and the premise is limited by the maximum output power. For example, if the output is 17V, the current should not exceed 2A!
- When using this module over 3A or 35W, please strengthen the heat dissipation ! ! !
- The module has an input under-voltage protection function, the default value is about 4.8V (can be set), when it is lower than this value, it will automatically disconnect the output (note that the voltage at the module port is lower than the under-voltage protection threshold when the input current is large, do not ignore the voltage-divide on the input wire).
