1. Packing Accessories

Please check the packing box and accessories when you got the
item in hand.

5 INSTALLATION STEPS

5.1 Please use the screw driver to take off the screw on the
back knob position, refer the below Pic.1:

Special Notice for Axis Door:

You can use the screw driver to take off the screw on the back
knob position and adjust the tail size accordingly, refer the below:

5.2 Please insert the cylinder to the existed lock and fix the cylinder
with the long screw as picture 2.

5.3 Please use the screw driver to fasten the screw on the
back knob position, refer the below picture 3:

5.4 Please take off the reader cover with the magnet or sucker
(included in our accessories bag),assemble 1xCR123A alkaline
battery, refer the below picture 4:

5.5 Please test with your fingerprint under the factory state,
any fingerprint will unlock the door lock, refer the below picture 5:

5.6 Please test the lock with key card after you configure the lock
with Tuya smart APP(Refer the Part 6).

Notice the keycard or fingerprint can only be enrolled by the
Tuya smart APP, so it is important to install this app in your mobile
before start daily use.

6.Tuya APP Settings

Please download the Tuyasmart or Smart life on Apple store or
Google play. also you can scan the QR code below to download
the APP directly.

6.2 Intelligent Configuration

Please run the Tuya smart APP and click “Add Device” on the right
top position for auto scan:

6.3 Function Description

Under Tuya smart APP interface, you can see the features for the
smart locks, such as Memeber /unlock records and settings etc.
Also you can slide the bar to unlock the door directly.

6.4 Add User Fingerprint

Under Tuya smart APP interface, you can click the “Member
Management” and add the fingerprint.

6.5 Delete User Fingerprint

Under Tuya smart APP setting, you can click the “Member
Management” and delete it with below operations.

6.6 Add User Card

Under Tuya smart APP interface, you can click the
“Member Management” and add the user card .

6.7 Delete User Card

Under Tuya smart APP setting, you can click the user card name and
delete it with below operation.

6.8 Smart Linkage and Settings

Under the Tuya APP, you can click the “Smart Scenes” for more
scene and more options for the features upon the using condition.

6.9 Passage Mode

Under Tuya smart APP setting, you can disable”Auto lock”, then you
can unlock the lock one time with fingerprint or valid card, the lock
will be under the lock will be in always open state, you can enable
the “Auto Lock” and cancel this passage mode.

7. Reset the Lock

Under Tuya smart APP setting, you can click the “Remove Device” and choose
the “Disconnect and Wipe Data”to reset the lock, then the lock will be set to
factory state, you can use any fingerprint to unlock the lock, also the other user
can add the lock on their mobile APP.

8. Hardware Reset the Lock

When there is issue to reset the lock from the APP, there is one way
to reset the lock by hardware resetting to factory state, you can find
one small hole on the rear side of reader, please cross the small
tools into the hole and long press the reset button for 5 seconds,
then there is sound tips for reset, when the operation is done, the
lock will be under factory state, the other users can add the lock
with his mobile APP.

9. Reset the Lock with Reset Card(Only for emergency)

We provide one emergency solution to reset the lock with
Reset Card, but this is only for emergency use when the hardware
reset operation does not work, please keep well this card and only
use it on emergency condition!

Setting Step

Touch the Reset Card to the induction
area of reader and sound beep with sensor
light change to blue, then one beep sound and
sensor light flash one time, reset operation is done
and you can test with fingerprint to unlock.

12 Troubleshoot and Solution(FAQ)

Question 1: Can I unlock the door with my fingerprint at first time?
Answer: After you finish the installation and power on the lock with 1pcs CR123A
alkaline battery and you can press any fingerprint to unlock the door, to ensure
you can access the door before you configure the lock with mobile APP.
Question 2: what kind of battery shall we use?
Answer: This lock is highly recommended to be powered on by 1pcs CR123A
alkaline battery, do not use any other batteries or other Zn/Mn batteries!
Question 3: is the lock auto locked?
Answer: After you unlock the door one time, the door will be locked after 5 seconds.
Question 4: I bought one lock for my friend, how can he add the lock with
his mobile?
Answer: Please remove this device from your mobile App you can click the
“Remove Device” and choose the “Disconnect and Wipe Data”to reset the lock,
or refer page 15 for more options.
Question 5: I insert the manual key and turn but I can not unlock the door.
Answer: Please insert the manual key and turn the reader to unlock the door,

Notice after you insert the key into the
key hole and turn clockwise, you shall
turn the reader to unlock the door but
not to use the key to unlock the door
directly.

Question 6: is it available to remote unlock my door?
Answer: One extra gateway is required for remote unlock, please turn to our sale
service line, after configuration, you can press the icon on the app to remote unlock.

13. Sales and Service Terms

This product comes with a 1-year Limited Warranty on
Electronic Parts and a Limited lifetime. Mechanical and Finish
Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under
normal use to the original residential user. Proof of purchase and
ownership is required for the warranty to be in effect.

to contact with us.
For any wrong operation or installation to the user, we do not
responsible for the duty.
For the damage caused by anthropic factor or inevitable reason,
we do not pay for the loss or maintain for free, please check our
after sale service terms.
Please do not take apart the lock if you are not technician, if
necessary, please make the operations under the guide of
technician.
