Product Usage Instructions

Installation Instructions

1. Before attempting to connect or operate the product, read the instructions completely.
2. Ensure that you have all the components mentioned in the kit.
3. Only a qualified electrician should make electrical connections.
4. Do not use attachments not recommended by the product manufacturer.
5. All cable runs must be within permissible distance.
6. This unit must be properly and securely mounted to a supporting structure capable of sustaining the weight of the unit.
7. The installation should be made by a qualified installer and in compliance with local codes.
8. Select suitable hardware to install the unit, considering the composition of the mounting surface and the weight of the unit.
9. Periodically examine the unit and supporting structure to ensure the integrity of the installation.

Unpacking

Unpack the product carefully to avoid damaging the electronic components. If any item appears to have been damaged during shipment, replace it properly in its carton and notify the shipper. Make sure to save the following:

1. The shipping carton and packaging material for future shipments.
2. These Installation and Operating Instructions for reference.

5. Electrical Connections: Only a qualified electrician should make electrical connections.
6. Attachments: Do not use attachments not recommended by the product manufacturer as they may cause hazards.
7. Cable Runs: All cable runs must be within permissible distance.
8. Mounting: This unit must be properly and securely mounted to a supporting structure capable of sustaining the weight of the unit.
   • Accordingly:
   • The installation should be made by a qualified installer.
   • The installation should be in compliance with local codes.
   • Care should be exercised to select suitable hardware to install the unit, taking into account both the composition of the mounting surface and the weight of the unit.

Be sure to periodically examine the unit and the supporting structure to make sure that the integrity of the installation is intact. Failure to comply with the foregoing could result in the unit separating from the support structure and falling, with resultant damages or injury to anyone or anything struck by the falling unit.

UNPACKING

Unpack carefully. Electronic components can be damaged if improperly handled or dropped. If an item appears to have been damaged in shipment, replace it properly in its carton and notify the shipper.

Be sure to save:

1. The shipping carton and packaging material. They are the safest material in which to make future shipments of the equipment.
2. These Installation and Operating Instructions.

Installation Instructions

1. Securely mount the bracket to the wall using the appropriate fasteners and anchors (not provided).
2. Remove the mount cover using the provided wrench.
   • NOTE: Captive fasteners have been provided. Do not completely remove the fasteners from the mount.
3. Pull the appropriate camera cabling into the wall mount.
   • If using conduit, a 3/4” access port is provided on the on the bottom of the mount.
4. Install camera mounting bracket into pendant shroud using the provided (8-32) screws.
   • Warning: Do not use mounting screws (M4x8mm) from WV-SFV631L camera (thread will not match).
5. Wrap TeflonTM tape around the pipe threads and thread the pendant shroud onto the mount until it is tight.
6. Attach the camera to the pendant shroud and complete all wiring connections inside the mount.
   • Note: If required, attach the safety tether to the tether mounting point.
7. Secure the mount cover to the base using the provided wrench.
   • Note: Gradually tighten the fasteners in a crossing pattern to ensure a good seal.
