Safety Precautions

! Warning

• Dispose of all packaging materials properly. Some items may be packed in plastic bags; these bags could cause suffocation; keep away from children and pets.
• Do NOT allow small children to play with, in or around the pet water fountain.
• To reduce the risk of injury, please keep close supervision when the appliance is used near children.
• Do NOT use the water fountain with pets not able to reach the water tray or with any physical disability.
• Do NOT immerse the battery compartment in water at any time as it may damage electronic components.
• Do NOT place any foreign object in the water tank.
• Do NOT disassemble the pet fountain other than components as instructed in this User Manual.
• Do NOT use the pet fountain for anything other than its intended use.
• Only use attachments recommended or sold by the manufacturer. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition. Do NOT modify the pet fountain.
• Do NOT operate any appliance if the unit is malfunctioning or has been damaged. Do not attempt repairs on the device yourself. Contact our customer service immediately for further instructions.
• If the device is not in use for a long time, please charge the battery compartment once every 4 months to maintain the battery in good condition.
• Please disconnect the power supply and detach the battery compartment before maintaining and cleaning the machine.
• This product is for indoor use only.
• This product is not allowed to run without water.
• Check the device after installation. Do NOT turn on if there is water on the contact points.
• To avoid tripping, always position the power cord out of the way of foot traffic.
• Change the filter every 2 weeks or when the flow rate has noticeably reduced.
  For two or more cats, you may need to replace the filters more regularly if it becomes blocked.

Caution

• The product is only applicable to DC output 5V 2A power adapter. Please use a power adapter that meets the relevant national and regional standards; otherwise it will damage the product or cause potential safety hazards (power adapter not included).
• Do NOT install or store the pet water fountain where it will be exposed to weather or temperatures below 0°C / 40°F.
• Check the remaining water volume and battery status in the water fountain before leaving for extended time.
• Read and observe all important notices listed on the pet water fountain and in the packaging.

Note: Components 6 and 7 are integrated and cannot be detachable.

Working Mode Introduction

Battery powered : there is a built-in rechargeable battery, which can be used without plugging in. It is suitable for indoor areas without power sockets.
Note: when used for the first time, it needs to be fully charged before use. If you need to use it immediately, you can connect the external power cord, charge the water fountain while working, and then unplug it when it is fully charged.

Water outlet mode :

1. Timer Mode : water releases once every 15 minutes

Motion-activated Mode :

1. The water fountain has a built-in sensor, and when the pet activity is detected within the sensing range, it will automatically give water for 20 seconds.

2. Sensing range: induction angle 120°, sensing distance 1.5rn.
   

3. Alier the motion-activated water outlet mode is turned on, if there is no activity detected within 1 hour, the machine will automatically water out for 20 seconds to filter the water and keep it clean.

Note : The back of the water fountain cannot sense pets, so it is necessary to use the back of the product against the wall to avoid affecting pets drinking water .

Indicators and Buttons Overview

Lighting Part:

Battery Indicator

1. Flashing blue: the external power supply is being charged.
2. Steady blue: the battery is fully charged.
3. Flashing red : the battery is low and needs to be charged.
4. Off state : battery power is sufficient. The current battery exceeds the low power warning.

Device Operation Indicator :

TimerMode
When this mode is selected, the indicator lights up and is accompanied by a short beep, this mode will start.

1. Steady white: working state, water release for 20 seconds.
2. Breathing white: countdown of 15 minutes between water releases.
3. Off state: this mode is not selected.

Motion-activated Mode
When this mode is selected, the indicator lights up and is accompanied by a short beep, this mode will start.

1. Steady white : working state, motion sensor triggered, water outlet for 20 seconds.
2. Breathing white: detecting state, searches for motion within the detection range.
3. Off state: this mode is not selected.

Button Part :

  Power (Toggle) Button
Poweron:
press and hold the button for 2 seconds, the sensor symbol indicator lights up and is accompanied by a short beep, the product is powered on and enters motion-activated mode by default.
Switching modes:
Press the button again, it will switch to timer mode. Shut down:
Press and hold the button for 2 seconds, the indicator will turn off and be accompanied by a long beep, and the product is powered off.

Battery Pack

The water dispenser has a built-in rechargeable battery, please pay attention to the following items in daily use :

1. The built-in battery cannot be disassembled. Please do not disassemble it by yourself to avoid a decline in battery performance or damage to the battery. In serious cases, electrical safety hazards overheating, fire or injury may occur.

2. If the product has not been used for a long time, please charge the product at least once every 4 months to avoid affecting the service life of the battery.

3. When low power is prompted, please charge the battery as soon as possible to avoid affecting the service life of the battery.

4. Avoid using it at low temperature, otherwise, the battery power will decrease, which is a normal phenomenon.

5. Please use the 5V 2A power adapter(power adapter not included) to charge the water fountain.

6. DO NOT expose the battery to any direct heat source, including fire or direct sunlight.

7. The battery must be removed from the water fountain before it is scrapped.

8. DO NOT dispose of the water fountain or the Battery Pack in fire, water or other liquids. This is to avoid any explosion hazards.

9. DO NOT dispose of the Li-ion battery in your household waste.
   Dispose of it by following your local environmental laws and regulations.

10. Do not heat above 140 “F [60 “Cl or incinerate the battery pack.
    Keep the battery pack away from children.

How to Use

• Soak the filter in a clean bowl for 5 minutes, then rinse the filter thoroughly with tap water.

Step 1

Notes:

1. The filter must be fully soaked before the fountain is turned on; otherwise, water may not flow through the filter smoothly and cause spillage.
2. Do not soak the filter in the water tank of the fountain in case of any surface dust.

! The battery compartment is strictly prohibited from being immersed.

• For spout cleaning, Rinse Only!
  Do not immerse the battery compartment in water, and air dry it thoroughly before refitting it to the machine.

Step 2

• Wash the water tray, filter tray and water tank with clean water.
  Note: Only the stainless steel water tray is dishwasher safe.
  The rest of the components are strictly prohibited to put into the dishwasher for cleaning.

Step 3

• Add water to the tank.
  Note : Keep the water level between the Min and Max level.

Step4

• Install the filter tray and place the filter on the filter tray.

Step 5

• Install the water tray into the water tank.

Step6

• Install the battery compartment in position.

Step7

Press and hold for 2 seconds to power on.

Care Instructions

1. Replace the filter and foam every 2 weeks.
2. Clean the pump and fountain every 2 weeks.
3. To extend the life of pump, please add water before starting the machine.

How to Clean the Pump

Remove the pump cover.
Note: The foam filter is in the pump cover, change the foam every 2 weeks.

Remove the impeller cover.

Remove the impeller by the brush hook.

Use the brush to clean the parts with water.

How to Charge the Battery

Press the buttons on both sides to remove the battery compartment.

Open the rubber cap on the back of the battery pack and find the charging port.

Connect it with the USB-C cable (included), and then connect to any of the SV2A adapters (not included).

Plug into the socket for charging.

• In general, the charging time takes 4.5 hours.

Troubleshooting

1. Fill in water between MIN and MAX.
2. Clean the pump, water tank, and drinking basin.

How often should

change the filters? Where to get them?

| It’s recommended to replace the filter and sponge every 2 weeks. Please contact us at

support@downypaws.comto purchase new filters.

Water output speed

slows down.

| Check if the water level in the tank is low, it’s normal if the water output speed slows down in this case, after adding water, the water output speed will turn to normal.
