Installation Step
- Connect the HDMI Sync Box to the TV Back.
- Connect the Strip Lights to the HDMI Sync Box.
- Connect the HDMI Sync Box to the power using the provided 12V 2A Adapter.
- Connect the HDMI Sync Box to the TV Box or Game Console using the provided HDMI Cable.

- Turn on/off lighting: Connect the Strip Lights to power and Press the ON/OFF button on the Strip Lights to turn them on or off.
- Lighting Mode Selection:
- After turning on the light, press the button once to cycle through lighting modes in the following order: Rainbow, Night, Holiday, Color, Spectrum, Chase, Breathe, Music, and TV.
- Press the button twice to cycle through the sub-mode of the current mode.
- Note: Each time you switch to a sub-mode, it will become the default sub-mode for that mode in the future.
WiFi Connecting
- Download the app:
- To access Dekala, you can either download it from the App Store/Google Play or scan the QR code.
- Sign up and log in.
- Operating on the HDMI Sync Box:
- After connecting to power for 6 seconds, if the blue LED flashes quickly, it means the HDMI sync box is now ready to connect to WiFi.
- If the blue LED doesn’t flash, please long-press the button until the blue LED flashes. Then the HDMI sync box is now ready to connect to WiFi.
- First, long-press the button to turn off the device, then long-press to reset WiFi.
- Note: HDMI Sync Box only supports 2.4G WiFi. If your network only has 5GHz, follow the instructions to split your Wi-Fi into dual bands of 2.4GHz and 5GHz.

Q: What should I do if the LED indicator on the HDMI Sync Box is red?
- A : If the LED indicator on the HDMI Sync Box is red, it means that the device failed to connect to WiFi. Please check your WiFi settings and make sure you are using a 2.4GHz network.

Installation Step
- Wipe the installation surface to ensure it is dry and clean.
- Connect the USB-A to Type-C cable to either the output A or output B port of the HDMI box. Begin the installation from the right side of the TV screen’s back. Place the first strip light’s USB-C male connector facing downwards and insert it into the USB-C female connector of the USB-A to Type-C cable. Then, connect the remaining strip lights in order and stick them to the back of the TV.
- Connect the TV box, game console, computer, or other signal device to the “HDMI IN” port of the HDMI sync box using an HDMI cable. Connect the TV to the “HDMI OUT” port of the HDMI sync box.
- Connect the power adapter to the “DC IN” port.
Note: Install the long strip light on the long side of the TV and the two
short strip lights on the short side of the TV. Each strip light has a male or
female connector on both ends. When connecting the strip lights, make sure to
match the male and female connectors.

- Note: Please make sure to turn on the GPS location, WiFi (2.4 GHz only), and Bluetooth before connecting the strip lights to your WiFi (2.4 GHz only), then you can choose auto-search connect or manually connect.
- Operating on the HDMI Sync Box
- After connecting to power for 6 seconds, if the blue LED flashes quickly, it means the HDMI sync box is now ready to connect to WiFi.
- If the blue LED doesn’t flash, please long-press ” ” until the blue LED flashes. Then the HDMI sync box is now ready to connect to WiFi.
- First long press “ ” to turn off the device, then long press to reset WiFi.
Note: HDMI Sync Box Only Supports 2.4G WiFi. If your network only has 5GHz, follow these instructions to split your Wi-Fi into dual bands of 2.4GHz and 5GHz.

APP Guidance
- Connect the device to an app
- Open up “Dekala” app, click on ” ” or “Add Device”;
- The app will search devices automatically through Bluetooth, then tap “Add”;
- Tap
- Choose a 2.4G WiFi network and input a password (Only 2.4G WiFi);
- Wait for device access- ing to WiFi;
- Tap “Done
- Note: Once the device and your smartphone are initially connected via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, remote control access between them will no longer require the initial 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection. This means that you can control the Dekala device using the Dekala app with cellular data, 5G Wi-Fi, or any other network later on.

- In TV mode, when the HDMI sync box’s indicator is yellow, it is TV sync mode for movie, and when the indicator is green, it is TV sync mode for game.
- Swipe ” ” to adjust the brightness;
- Swipe ” ” to adjust the speed.
- Speed adjusting doesn’t work under “Color” and “TV” mode.
Wake-up light setting
- Click ” ” to turn on/off wake-up light;
- Tap on “Wake-up” section for more detailed setting, click “ < “ to save and exit;
- The “Wake-up” light automatically turns off when it reaches the set time; When the “Wake-up” light is on, click ” ” to turn off the light; Click “ ” to deactivate “Wake-up” light.
Sleep-aid setting
- Click “ ” in the sleep-aid section to turn on/off sleep-aid light;
- Tap on “Sleep-aid” section for more detailed setting, click ” <“ to save and exit.
Time format setting
- Click “Time Setting”, switch on/off 24-hour system and network time synchronization (with WiFi only).
- Network time synchronization is suggested to leave on at all time.
Other setting
- Click ” ” in the upper right corner to enter, on this screen you can view device information. Third party control guidelines, offline notification, remove the device and so on.
Voice Control
- Take “Alexa” connecting setup as an example
- Note: Make sure the device has already been linked with “Smart Life” APP. (The linking process is the same as linking with the “Dekala” APP.)
- Download “Amazon Alexa” from Google Play/App Store and sign up (If you are already an Alexa user, you can just open it) .
- Choose “Skills & Games”, search Smart Life and tap ” ENABLE TO USE.
- Tap on “Launch” and log in to Alexa with the same username and password you have for Smart Life app and tap “Agree and link” . You are able to voice control the device with Amazon Echo (Alexa) after seeing “Your Smart Life account has been successfully linked.”
- Open Smart Life app to check if the Alexa control has linked. If it shows yes, it means the two accounts has linked up on cloud. You can rename the device with Smart Life app and Alexa will automatically synchronize the new name via cloud.
- Note: You can also have Alexa discover new devices and repeat the linking process to re-link with the re-named device via Smart Life app. (only an optional operation)
Voice control demonstration
- You can re-name all the functions of device, Alexa will sync with the new names and recognize them as voice commands.
- Works with Alexa/Google smart home.
- Attention: Minor delay might occur due to various WiFi speed and cloud processing system, when device or Alexa fail to react to voice control, please wait for a few minutes and try again.

FAQ
- Unable to Connect Device to WiFi?
- Please place the router, device, and mobile phone as close as possible to each other;
- Ensure that your WiFi signal is strong and compatible (only 2.4 GHz WiFi network is supported);
- To connect to a different smartphone or WiFi network, please long-press to re-enter WiFi connecting mode.
- Ensure that the Dekala app has access to Bluetooth and that your cellphone’s Bluetooth is turned on.
- Why are the TV backlights not bright enough?
- For a better user experience, we recommend that the distance between the back of the TV and the wall be 3.9 to 7.8 inches.
- App Suddenly Loses Control Over the Device?
- Ensure that the device is powered on;
- Check the strength and compatibility of the WiFi signal (test by opening a random web page on your phone), and whether the device and smartphone are connected under the same WiFi network (2.4 GHz only) ;
- Open Dekala app and stay on the home page for 3 minutes and see if the device is still online (connected) ;
- Re-open Dekala app and try again.
- How to Reset WiFi Connection on the Device?
- When the light is off, long-press the until the blue light flashes to reset the WiFi connection.
- Changes in APP Setting Don’t Sync with the Device?
- Check WiFi connection (2.4 GHz only);
- Re-open Dekala app and try again.
- Check if the internet (WiFi) speed is slow or not.
- Smartphone Loses Control Over the Device When in Different Locations (Different WiFi)?
- Check WiFi connection (2.4 GHz only);
- Re-start the router and try connecting the device and your smartphone via Dekala app again. (under the same WiFi, 2.4 GHz only)
- Why Can’t the HDMI Sync Box Sync with the Color of the Smart TV Connected to It?
- Due to copyright issues, smart TV applications can only run on the TV itself, and the signal cannot be directly transmitted to the HDMI sync box through the TV itself. Therefore, video synchronization cannot be achieved. To use the video synchronization function, you can only use a TV box or other devices with HDMI output to input signals to the HDMI box.
- Why Does the Size Marked on the Strip Lights Not Match the Size of the TV?
- It may be that your measurement method is wrong. The size advertised by TV manufacturers is based on the diagonal size and length of the screen.

- Please wipe this product with a soft cloth.Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, harsh chemicals, alcohol, acetone, or any other cleaning agents that may damage the product’s surface.
- When storing the product, place it in a safe, dry place that is not overcrowded, roughed up, or damaged. Don’t wrap the power cord around the appliance when storing it.
