TTLITTLINY ZD-X18 2.5K Wi-Fi Dual Dash Camera User Guide
Important Notice:
- Before using this device, please insert the memory card first, and need to format micro SD card to FAT32 format on PC firstly,then format the memory card in camera menu.
- This product is intended for using in motor vehicles only. Do NOT install the camera where it might block the driver’s view of road (including the mirrors) or the deployment of the airbag.
- For safety reasons, this camera has a small built-in battery, which is used to save the video file after external power supply cuts off (car turns off).
- This camera records video at high resolution. Be sure to use high speed Micro SD card (Class 10 or above). 32 GB Micro SD card is recommended.
- DO NOT leave the camera in direct sunlight for a long period of time or where the temperature could go above 140°F(60°C).
- Be sure the camera lens is clean and there is nothing blocking the lens.

1. Recording Interface

Click the “Playback Button” on the device enter to playback interface.

Locked File: Click to view the locked video file. (The lock files of the front and rear cameras are respectively saved in the “event\F” folder and the “event\R” folder in the SD card.) (Press lock button to choose if unlock the files)

Photo File: Click to view the photo files. (The photo
files of the front and rear cameras are respectively saved in the “photo\F” folder and the “photo\R” folder in the SD card.) (Press playback button to choose if delete the files) -
Video File: Click to view daily save video files. (The video files of the front and rear cameras are respectively saved in the “video\F” folder and the “video\R” folder in the SD card.) (Press playback button to choose if delete the files. Press lock button to choose if lock the files)

In-Grid Files: The file content in the corresponding file mode is stored. You can slide up and down to select the file. After selecting the file, it will enter the file playback interface corresponding to the file. The end of the file F.ts represents the front camera’s file; the end R.ts represents the rear camera’s file; the end SOS.ts represents the emergency recording’s file.The time on the right represents the file generation time.

Park Monitoring File: Click to view the parking monitoring mode record video file. (The park monitoring files of the front and rear cameras are respectively saved in the “park\F” folder and the “park\R” folder in the SD card.)
3. In “Main Screen” Interface

Confirm Button: Enable/Disable recording

Up Button: Take pictures

Down Button: Switch between front and rear view recording; Long press to turn on/off audio record.

Menu Button: Enter the menu interface and display the menu function panel. In any steps, menus button feature as “back button”, Press to retum last step.

Playback Button: Enter the files visit interface and display the playback function panel. In playback interface press to choose delete the files.

Lock Button: Lock the current recording video. When the video is locked, the video icon on the screen will become yellow
● .In playback interface, press to choose lock or unlock the files. -
Power Button: Short press to turn off the screen, long press to tum off the camera.
4. Setting Interface
Click “Settings Button” on the device to enter the setting interface, and the default selection is resolution.
- First level menu: Display the setting menu function, you can press the UP and DOWN keys to select, after selection, the content of the current corresponding first-level menu and the default items will be displayed in the second-level menu.
- Second level menu: After selecting the first-level menu, it will be displayed, and the corresponding selection content will be changed. Note : The selection will be saved after shutdown.
Setting Menu Instruction

Resolution
Change the video resolution. There are currently 2.5K and 1080P, which represent 2560×1440 resolution and 1920×1080 resolution respectively. The default is 2.5K. -
Recording time
Indicates the video recording time, that is the video file division time. The recording time period can be set to 1, 3, and 5 minutes, and the default is I minute.
Note : When the SD card is full, the recorder will auto overwrite the oldest clips. -
Parking Monitoring
Parking monitoring is divided into four modes: off, low, medium and high. The default is off. Low, medium and high indicate the sensitivity of vibration monitoring.
When using without step-down line, In the off state, if the car vibrates
slightly, the recorder will automatically start recording and lock and lock
the touch. This video is a locked video and will not be overwritten. After 30
seconds of video recording, the dash cam will automatically shut down;
When using with dash cam step- down line, after the parking monitoring
function is turned on, it will prompt a tip “entering parking monitoring mode”
when dash cam is turned off, then recording itself.
**If the power-on operation occurs during the recording process, it will not
be turned off after the locked recording is completed, and it will switch back
to the normal recording mode.
4. Gravity Sensor
The machine has a built-in G-sensor, and the gravity sensor is divided into
four modes: off, low, medium, and high, the default is off.
** Low, medium and high indicate the sensitivity of vibration monitoring. Turn
on the gravity sensing function, if the machine vibrates during the recording
process (such as collision, ete.), the current video can be automatically
locked.
Note: The collision sensor (G-sensor) supports sensitivity adjustment:
high/medium/low, you can change the settings in the gravity sensor settings
according to actual needs.
5. WIFI switch
Can choose on or off. When it connect success, the icon will change to white.
6. Screen Saver
Screen saver is divided into off, 30 seconds, 3minutes, 5 minutes, the default
is off. After the screen saver is turned on, if there is no touch or key
operation during use, the screen will be turned off. After closing the screen,
you can turn on the screen by short pressing the power button.
Note: Recording continues even after the screen is turned off.
7. Light Source Frequency
You can choice 50Hz/ 60Hz.
8. Language
You can choice the language as you need.
9. Audio
Turn on/off the audio.
10. Rear Mirror
Streaming media mirroring is divided into two types: On and Off, and the
default is Off. Turning on streaming mirroring will mirror the rear view
camera.
11. WDR
WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology helps balance exposure level. Even in the
low-light conditions, the X18 solidly provides you extremely clear and smooth
image quality.
12. Time-lapse video
Time-lapse video recording: It is a shooting technology that compresses time.
It shoots a group of photos or videos, and later uses the series of photos or
video to extract frames, and the process of minutes, hours, or even days and
years is recorded.
Compressed to play as a video in a shorter period of time. In a time-lapse video, the slowly changing process of an object or scene is compressed into a short period of time, presenting a bizarre and wonderful scene that is usually invisible to the naked eye.
Time-lapse video recording can be selected from four forms: off, 5 hours, 12 hours, and 24 hours. The default is off. When you choose to turn on the time- lapse video recording, if the car is turned off, the ACC will be disconnected, and the main interface of the recorder will prompt “Enter time-lapse video recording” prompt box, and then enter the record media interface, the recording mode is time-lapse video mode, and the screen will be turned off after 5s. If a touch operation occurs within 5s or a touch operation occurs after the screen is closed, the screen will be closed again after 10s. When the car starts up again and the ACC is powered on, it will exit the time-lapse video recording and pop up a prompt box “Exit time-lapse video recording”.
Time-lapse interval (time-lapse frame rate) selection of time-lapse video can be selected in the time-lapse interval of the menu.
13. Date/Time
The time setting tip pops up, you can set the time and date of the recording,
the default is the factory time, this setting will be updated to the interface
display time and OSD time watermark.
Note: In order to effectively record the date and time of evidence collection
of driving safety accidents, please set the correct time before using the
machine.
14. Volume
Adjust the volume level.
15. Formatting
The format tip pops up, you can choose whether to format quickly, the default
is quick format, and you can choose whether to confirm the format.
16. License Plate Settings
The license plate setting tip pops up, and the license plate can be set. The
default is AB123456, 8 digits, and it can be set to six digits for the green
license plate. This setting will be updated to the interface to display the
license plate and the OSD license plate watermark.
Note : In order to effectively record the license plate of the vehicle owner
for the evidence collection of the driving safety accident, please set the
correct license plate before using the machine.
How to set license plate?
First row: The license plate that has been successfully set.
Second row: Optional letters or numbers or space bar.
① Press”OK” button-proceed to the next license plate letter/number setting in
sequence;
② Press “Up/down” button to select the right letter/number, then Press
“Playback” button to confirm.
17. Restore Factory Settings
A tip of restoring to factory settings will pop up, and you can choose whether
to confirm the restoration of factory settings, confirming that all function
setting information, screen setting lens display and display screen position,
playback interface display screen position and display.
18. About (Device Information)
The About tip will pop up, showing the core, software and model of the
recorder.
