Renfert CONNECT stick
Intended UseThe Renfert CONNECT stick is used for communication between a Renfert product and the Renfert App. The Renfert CONNECT stick can only be used in Renfert products.
Startup After connecting the Renfert CONNECT stick to a Renfert product (see Chapter 4), and installation of the Renfert CONNECT App on your mobile device, you can connect the Renfert product with the App. The necessary steps to do so are different from product to product. Please follow the instructions in the Renfert CONNECT App.
Status Signals The Renfert CONNECT stick informs about its connection status with different signals.

Connect Renfert CONNECT stick The Renfert CONNECT stick is not a
conventional USB stick.
Therefore, do not plug it into the USB ports of other devices.
Otherwise, the Renfert CONNECT stick and the other device could be damaged.
The Renfert CONNECT stick can only be connected to Renfert products having the
necessary interface.
EASY view+
Setup
- Switch off the EASY view+ using the power switch (7).
- Insert the Renfert CONNECT stick into the Renfert CONNECT interface at the rear side of the head (26).
Caution! Make sure that the Renfert CONNECT stick is inserted in the correct port. If it is inserted in a different port, it will not work and the Renfert CONNECT stick and the EASY view+ may be damaged.
- Switch the EASY view+ on again.

Renfert CONNECT stick
Intended use
The Renfert CONNECT stick is used for communication between a Renfert product
and the Renfert App.

Startup

Status signals
The Renfert CONNECT stick informs about its connection status with different

Connect Renfert CONNECT stick
The Renfert CONNECT stick is not a conventional USB stick. Therefore, do not
plug it into the USB ports of other devices. Otherwise the Renfert CONNECT
stick and the other device could be damaged.
The Renfert CONNECT stick can only be connected to Renfert products having the
necessary interface.
EASY view+
- Setup
- Switch off the EASY view+using the power switch (7).
- Insert the Renfert CONNECT stick into the Renfert CONNECT interface at the rear side of the head (26).

SIMPLEX
The SIMPLEX system (SIMPLEX 3D-filament printer, SILMLEX silceware, SIMPLEX
print) will be connected to the Renfert CONNECT App without the Renfert
CONNECT stick.
You obtain updates for the SIMPLEX 3D-filament printer and for the software
packages SIMPELX sliceware and SIMPLEX print exclusively via the Renfert
CONNECT App.

„App Store“, „Apple“, „Google“, „Play Store“, and „Android“ are registered trademarks of Apple or Google.
- Install the Renfert CONNECT app from the App Store (Apple) or the Google Play Store (Android) on your mobile device.
- Open the app and log in with an existing account, or register to create a Renfert account for your laboratory/ dental office.
- Go to „My Equipment“.
- Select „Add device“.
Follow the instructions of the App, they will differ from product to product.
Firmware Update
Updates for the Renfert CONNECT stick and the renfert product will be
received exclusively by the Renfert CONNECT App.
Inside the App a bell symbol will be displayed, when an update for the Renfert
CONNECT stick or the Renfert product is available.
To execute the update, click on the bell symbol an follow the instructions,
which will differ from product to product.
A firmware update interrupts the connection between the Renfert CONNECT stick and the Renfert product. Therefore, after the firmware update, the Renfert product must be switched off and after about 10 sec. turned on again.

Guarantee
Renfert gives a 3-year guarantee on all parts of the device provided that the
product is used in accordance with the operating instructions.
The original sales invoice of the specialist depot is required for a claim
under guarantee.
Parts which are subject to natural wear and tear (wear parts) and consumables
are excluded from the guarantee. These parts are marked in the spare part
list.
The guarantee is rendered void in the case of incorrect use, non-adherence to
the operating, cleaning, servicing or connection instructions, repairs carried
out by the owner or repairs that are not carried out by a specialist firm, use
of replacement parts from another manufacturer or unusual or unapproved uses
not specified in the user guidelines.
Successful claims under guarantee do not extend the guarantee period.
