Sunrise Alarm Clock K9 Wake Up Light

Product Information

The Wake-up Light is a device designed to provide a pleasant waking experience by simulating natural sunlight. It features a time display area, snooze button, up/down button, FM radio, alarm settings, brightness control, and various other functions. The device also includes a built-in battery and can be powered using a DC adapter.

Product Setting and Maintenance
For the first use, plug the power jack connector into the port on the back of the product and connect the USB cable to a DC adapter. The wake-up light comes pre-installed with a CR2032
battery, so remove the insulation sticker before use. Store the product in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme humidity. To clean the product, wipe off dust with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use liquid or abrasive cleaners.

Time Setting

1. Hour Setting: When the time display is on, long press the TIME SET button to set the hour with the hour value flashing on the screen. Rotate the rotary switch on the top to set the current hour.
2. Minute Setting: Press the TIME SET button to set the minute with the minute value flashing on the screen. Rotate the rotary switch on the top to set the current minute.
3. 12-Hour/24-Hour Format Setting: Press the TIME SET button and rotate the rotary switch to choose between the 12-hour and 24-hour clock system. Press the TIME SET button again to confirm the setting.
4. Days of the Week Setting: Press the TIME SET button and rotate the rotary switch to choose the day of the week. Press the TIME SET button again to confirm the setting and finish the time setting.

Alarm Clock Switch
When the time display is on, press the Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 button to turn on/off the respective alarm. The setting and operation of Alarm 1 are the same as those of Alarm 2.

Alarm Date Setting
When the alarm is on, slide the slide switch on the back to choose from daily mode, weekday mode, and weekend mode.

Alarm Setting (Alarm 1 as the example)

1. Hour Setting: Long press the Alarm 1 button, and the current time display on the screen will flash. Rotate the rotary switch to adjust the hour value.
2. Minute Setting: Press the Alarm 1 button to confirm the setting and switch to minute setting. Rotate the rotary switch to adjust the minute value.
3. Alarm Sound Setting: Press the Alarm 1 button to set the alarm sound. Rotate the rotary switch to choose from seven available sounds (S01-S07). Selecting “S08” represents using FM radio as the alarm sound.
4. Volume Setting: Press the Alarm 1 button to confirm the setting, enter volume setting mode, and rotate the rotary switch to adjust the volume level. Volume ranges from V01 to
   V16.

Product Setting and Maintenance

For the first use, please plug the power jack connector into the port on the back side of the product, and connect the USB cable to a DC adapter to power the wake-up light.

• Battery Installation
  The wake-up light is pre-installed with a CR2032 battery. Remove the insulation sticker before use.

• Product Storage
  Store the product in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme humidity.

• Product Cleaning
  Wipe the dust off with a so damp cloth. Please DO NOT use liquid or abrasive cleaners.

Time Setting

1. Hour Setting
   When the time display is on, long press the ④TIME SET button to set the hour time with the hour value flashing on the screen, and rotate the ①rotary switch on the top to set the current hour.

2. Minute Setting
   Press the ④TIME SET button to set the minute time with the minute value flashing on the screen. Rotate the ①rotary switch on the top to set the current minute.

3. 12-Hour/24-Hour Format Setting
   Press the ④TIME SET button and rotate the ①rotary switch to choose among the 12/24-hour clock system. Press the ④TIME SET button again to confirm the setting.

4. Days of the Week Setting
   Press the ④TIME SET button and rotate the ①rotary switch to choose the day of the week. Press the ④TIME SET button again to confirm the setting and finish the time setting.

Alarm Clock Switch

Alarm Clock On/Off Switch
When the time display is on, press the button ②Alarm 1 or ③ Alarm 2 to turn on/off the alarm 1/2.

Tips: The setting and operation of Alarm 1 are the same as those of Alarm 2.

Alarm Date Setting
When the alarm is on, slide the slide switch on the back to choose from daily mode, weekday mode, and weekend mode, as shown in the following picture :

Alarm Setting (Alarm 1 as the example)

1. Hour Setting
   Long press the button ②Alarm 1, the current time display on the screen flashes, and then rotate the ①rotary switch to adjust the hour value.

2. Minute Setting
   Press the button ②Alarm 1 to confirm the setting and turn to the minute setting, then rotate the ①rotary switch to adjust the minute value.

3. Alarm Sound Setting
   Press the button ②Alarm 1 to set the alarm sound and rotate the ①rotary switch to choose the sound. Seven kinds of sounds are available, varying from S01-S07, and S08 means FM radio. The screen displays S-0X (X is a changing value and corresponds to the sounds of S01-S07. If FM radio is chosen as the alarm sound, the screen will display S-08 with the icon of FM radio.)

4. Volume Setting
   Press the button ②Alarm 1 to confirm the setting, enter the volume setting, and rotate the ①rotary switch to adjust the volume with the volume icon on the screen. Volume levels vary from V01 to V16 (16 levels in total).

5. Brightness Setting
   Press the button ②Alarm 1 to confirm the setting, rotate the ① rotary switch to adjust the brightness setting of the wake-up light, and choose the maximum brightness level ranging from L01 to L20. If you don’t need the light, you can choose OFF. For example, when you choose the brightness to be L16, the brightness of the wake-up light will gradually change from L01 to L16.

6. Wake- up Time Setting
   Press the button ②Alarm 1 to confirm the setting, turn to the time setting for advance illumination of the wake-up light, and rotate the ①rotary switch to choose the time ranging from 10 minutes to 60 minutes.

7. Press the button ②Alarm 1 to confirm the setting and exit the alarm setting. Set Alarm 2 following the same steps as Alarm 1 if necessary.

Notes: After the alarm is set, it is enabled by default. In the meanwhile, the alarm icon displays on the left of the time value on the screen.

Operation (When the Alarm Starts Ringing)

The Wake-up light will simulate sunrise in the whole process when reaching the pre-set time for advance illumination, during which the light will be brighter and brighter gradually until it reaches the pre-set maximum brightness level at the time for the alarm to ring, and the alarm will ring to wake you up. When the alarm rings, you can perform the following operations:

1. Snooze Function
   Press the ①rotary switch once to silence the alarm for 9 minutes. Nine minutes later, the alarm will ring again.
   Tips: The snooze function can be repeated without the limit of times.

2. Stop the Alarm
   When the alarm is ringing or in the state of snooze mode, press the button of the corresponding alarm to stop the alarm ringing, and the next alarm ringing will not be affected.

3. No Operation
   If the alarm keeps ringing for 30 minutes without any operation, it will stop ringing automatically, and the next alarm ringing will not be affected.

FM Radio

1. FM Radio On/Off Switch
   When the screen displays time, press the ⑤FM Radio Switch to turn on/off the radio.

2. FM Automatic Scanning
   When the screen displays time, long press ⑤FM Radio Switch to enter the FM auto scan mode; the scanning range is from 76.0MHz to 108.0MHz. After the scanning is completed, the device will play the last FM station searched during the auto-scan process.

3. Change FM Radio Channel
   When the FM radio is on, long press the ⑦Volume Up/⑧Volume Down switch to change the next/last FM channel.

4. Change the FM Frequency
   When the FM radio is on, rotate the ①rotary switch to tune the FM station.

5. Adjust the FM Radio Volume
   When the FM radio is on, press the button ⑦Volume Up/⑧ Volume Down to adjust the volume.

Sleep Music

1. On/Off Switch
   On the time display screen, press the ⑥sound switch to turn on the sleep music, and long press the ⑥sound switch to turn off the sleep music.

2. Switch the Song
   When the sleep music is on, press the ⑥sound switch to switch music from S01 to S08.

3. Adjust the Volume
   When the sleep music is on, press the button ⑦Volume Up/⑧ Volume down to turn the volume up or down.

Light ‒ Sunrise Light Mode

1. On/Off Switch
   When the screen displays time, press the ⑩Wake-up Light Switch to turn on or off the sunrise light.

2. Brightness Control
   Press the buttons ⑫Brightness + and ⑬Brightness – to adjust the brightness level when the sunrise light is on.

Light ‒ Colored Light Mode

1. On/Off Switch
   When the screen displays time, long press the ⑩Wake-up Light Switch to turn on or off the colored light.

2. Light Color Mode
   Turn on the colored light and press the ⑩Wake-up Light Switch to switch the light color from red, yellow, cyan, green, blue, indigo, and purple.

3. Brightness Control
   When the colored light is on, press the buttons ⑫Brightness + and ⑬Brightness – to adjust the brightness level. Light ‒ Colored Light Mode

Light ‒ Special Effect Mode

1. On/Off Switch
   When the screen displays time, press the ⑪Light Effect Switch to turn on the light effect, and long press the ⑪Light Effect Switch for 2 seconds to turn off the light effect.

2. Special Effect Mode
   Turn on the special effect mode, and press the ⑪Light Effect Switch to switch the light mode from C01 to C07.

3. Brightness Control
   When the special effect is on, press the buttons ⑫Brightness + and ⑬Brightness – to adjust the brightness level.

Countdown Timer for Falling Asleep

1. Countdown Timer Switch
   When the screen displays time, press the button ⑨Sleep Timer to enter the countdown timer mode, and the time value on the screen flashes for 5 seconds. Rotate the ①rotary switch to adjust the countdown time with a range of 10-120 minutes, and long press the button ⑨Sleep Timer to turn off the countdown timer.

2. Countdown Timer for Sleep
   When the countdown timer is on, you can turn on FM, sleep music, sunrise light, colored light, and special effect, which will be shut down when the countdown timer reaches zero.

3. Check the Remaining Time
   When the countdown timer is on, press the button ⑨Sleep Timer to check the remaining time. In the time display screen, press the button ④Brightness Control / Time Setting to adjust the brightness level of the display screen with

4. levels of brightness available in total.

How to Change the Battery
Remove the screw from the battery cover with a screwdriver; insert the battery into the battery component while keeping the positive electrode upward; insert the battery cover into the slot of the battery component at the right side; tighten the screw of the battery cover.
