SENTKENG tuya Home Security Camera

Product Information
This is a Wi-Fi camera that allows you to monitor and capture footage remotely using a mobile app. It offers various features such as real-time preview, sound switch, clarity control, full-screen view, voice chat, video recording, video playback, cloud storage, and PTZ control.

Install App
- To use the camera, you need to download and install the Tuya Smart app or the Smart Life app from the App Store or App Market.
- Alternatively, you can scan the provided QR code to download the app on both iOS and Android devices.
Product Using Instructions
Register / Log in with Existing Account
If you don’t have an app account yet, you can register by providing your mobile number or email address and following the registration process. If you already have an account, you can log in using your registered mobile number or email address along with the verification code and password.
Add Device
There are two methods to add the camera to the app:
QR Code Net-Pairing (Recommended)
- Enter your Wi-Fi account and password in the app and click “Next”.
- Hold your mobile phone screen in front of the camera at a distance of 15 to 20 cm. Try not to shake the phone during scanning.
- When prompted, click “I hear a Prompt” and wait for the connection to establish.
- Once the device is added successfully, you can choose a device name and assign it to a room scene.
Add the Device – AP Mode
- Press the reset button on the camera to enable AP Mode.
- Ensure that your Wi-Fi is available and connected to the internet.
- Connect the camera to power and wait for the system startup to complete.
- Open the Tuya Smart app and tap the “+” button in the upper right corner of the main screen.
- Choose “Camera & Lock” and select “Smart Camera” to add the camera.
- Select Wi-Fi Mode, then click “Next step”.
- Choose AP Mode and enter your Wi-Fi account and password. Click “Next”.
- Tap “Go to Connect”.
- In the WLAN connection interface, select the Wi-Fi network starting with “SmartLife-” and connect to it using the camera’s Wi-Fi password (No password or 12345678).
- Once the connection is completed, go back to the app interface. The app will display that the device is connected.
- The device has now been successfully connected.

- Download APP: Search for “Tuya Smart”app in App Store/App Market, or scan the QR code below to download.

Register / Log in with existing account

Register
- If you do not have an App account yet, you can register an account or log in via SMS verification code. Please read the current page and the next page for the description of registration process.
- Click “Sign up”, enter Privacy Policy page on Tuya Smart App, click to Agree and enter to the registration page for Mobile number or E-mail address

Log in with existing account
If you have already registered an account, you can skip the creating a new account, click “Log in”, enter the log in page. -
The system automatically selects the current Country/Region, or you can manually select the Country/Region.

Enter your registered mobile number or e-mail address, enter your Verification Code and your password
Add Device
QR code net-pairing (Recommended)
Note: Some cameras of this product only support 2.4ghz Wi-Fi frequency. Please make sure whether your device supports 5GHZ Wi-Fi frequency Before configuring Wi-Fi, please set the router parameters. The Wi-Fi password should not contain special characters of -! @ #$%&*) When configuring Wi-Fi, make sure your router, mobile and device are as close as possible for a quick configuration of the device
- App supports QR code net-pairing and Wi-Fi connection. You can choose to add device by other options. (Figure 0)
- Power the camera, and you can hear the voice to remind you configure the network.
- When the mobile phone connecting to Wi-Fi, click “Add Device” (figure 1) on the Home of the App, select “Camera & Lock” Surveillance”(figure 2)- “Smart Camera”, click “next step” (figure 3).
- Enter Wi-Fi account and password, click “Next” (figure 4)
- Hold the mobile phone screen in the front of the camera (figure 5), the distance between the two should be 15 to 20 cm. (figure 5) Try not to shake the mobile phone during the scanning.
- When you hear a prompt, click “I hear a Prompt”, and wait for connecting (figure 5-6).
- Device added successfully (figure 7), you can choose the device name and room scene.
Add the Device-AP Mode
- If you want to use AP Mode, press the reset button on the machine. Make sure Wi-Fi is available and connected to the internet.
- Connect the camera to the power, s system startup completed.
- Open “Tuya Smart” APP, press the’+ in the upper right corner of the main (Figure 8);
- screen (Figure 9); choose “Camera & Lock “click “Smart Camera” to add camera;
- In the upper right corner of the main Then click “Wi-Fi Mode” (Figure 10) click “Next step”;
- Then click “AP Mode” (Figure 11);
- Enter Wi-Fi account and password, click “Next” (Figure 12)
- Then click “Go to Connect” (Figure 13);
- The interface jumps to the WALN connection interface, finds the Wi-Fi at the beginning of “SmartLife-“, and clicks on the connection, this Camera Wi-Fi password, No password or 12345678 (Figure 14)
- When the connection is completed, click back and return to the APP interface, at which time the APP display device is connected (Figure 15).
- At this time, the device has been successfully connected; the interface jumps to” Add Device Successful”(Figure 16);

FAQ
- Q: Fail to add device during net-pairing?
- A: Verify that the phone and device are connected to Wi-Fi, and ensure that the Wi-Fi password is correct and has no special characters
- Q: Still fail to add device after re-scanning?
- A: A: If the device fails to be added, reset the device or restart the network, and try again
- Q: The device cannot preview?
- A: Check for weak Wi-Fi signal. You can place the camera close to the router. if it still doesn’t work, reset the device, and add it again.
- Q: Why the device is still on the list after resetting the device?
- A: The device resetting only resets the camera’s network configuration and cannot change the configuration on the App. You must log in the App to delete the camera from the list.
- Q: How to connect the camera to another router?
- A: First log in the App to delete and reset the device, and configure the device again through the App.
- Q: Why the device cannot identify SD card?
- A: It is recommended to insert and remove the SD card after power off the device. Check if the SD card is under normal service conditions and the format is FAT32. The App shall suggest “could not find SD card”” under unstable network of the mobile phone or the device.
- Q: The device is online and has an alarm event, but the mobile phone cannot receive the information?
- A: First confirm that App allows notification in the settings of your mobile phone. Under normal circumstances, when an anomaly is detected, a message will appear in the notification bar of your mobile phone. You should set a notification sound or vibration in your mobile phone. In addition, when viewing the real-time video in the App, you cannot receive alarm of the cameral being viewed. Because the device defaults the camera being viewed indicating that the user is focusing on the monitoring video, and there is no need for an alarm.
