4GLTE Ryoko Mobile WiFi
Ryoko portable mobile WiFi provides a simple way to connect with any Wi-Fi embedded device.

- WPS key (show wifi SSID or wifi key with a short press On LCD version)

- Power Indicator
- WIFI SSID or WIFI Key Indicator
- Consumed Data Traffic
- Connected Internet Time
Use the device’s buttons as follows:
-
Power key
Press and hold for 3 seconds to turn the device on/off.
Short press to put the LED in either active or sleep mode.
Press and hold for 10 seconds to reboot device. -
WPS key
Press and hold WPS button for 3 seconds until Wi-Fi LED blinks.
Short press to put the LED in either active or sleep mode.
RESET
Press both “Power” and “WPS” key at the same time for 3 seconds.
Reset device to factory mode.
1.4 LED display
The LED display has the following icons and functions:
Network indicator (Red or blue LED)
LED is blue when connected to the internet. It flashes when the internet is
disconnected.
LED is red when there’s no network, service, or SIM card.
SMS indicator (Blue LED)
LED is blue when you get a new message.
It flashes when your inbox is full.
Wi-Fi indicator (Blue LED)
LED is blue when Wi-Fi is active.
Battery indicator (Red or blue LED)
LED is red when the battery is low.
LED is blue and flashes slowly when the device is working.
LED is light blue and flashes quickly when the device is charging.
LED is light blue when fully charged (no flashes).
Power saving mode:
If the device does not detect Wi-Fi access or any button inputs within 30
seconds, all the LED lights will automatically turn off (except the battery
LED). Press the power button/ connect USB cable to PC or any similar device to
start charging. LED screen will light up.
If no Wi-Fi access is detected in the connected device within 10 mins, Ryoko
network dialing will automatically disconnect.
WiFi will turn on by pressing any key or when the Wifi user accesses the
device. If no Wi-Fi access is detected in the device within the 30 minutes,
all the LED lights will be automatically turned off. The Wi-Fi AP function
will turn off automatically. Press any button to turn the Wi-Fi AP on.
1.5 How to Install Ryoko
STEP 1.
Open the back cover.
Note: we suggest to put your fingertips of two thumbs into the hole slot
at the some time and pull the cover outwards to open.
Hint: A spoon may assist
STEP 2:
Install the SIM card and SD card to the appropriate cards slots.
WARNING! Do not insert the micro SD card into the slot before opening the
slot cover. Follow the mark on the slot to open and lock.
STEP 3:
Install the battery.
HINT: Remove the plastic tab that covers the battery contacts
STEP 4:
Close the back cover.
1.6 Connecting to Wi-Fi
Note: Wi-Fi name (SSID) and Wi-Fi key are located on the label under the
battery.
STEP 1.
Use the Wi-Fi manager on the Wi-Fi embedded device to select the Ryoko Wi-Fi
name (SSID).
Windows PC: Right-click Wireless network connection on the task bar, and
select: View Available Networks.
Choose the Ryoko SSID from the list of available networks.
Mac: Select System Preferences Network Airport. Click ”Advanced” to
choose Ryoko SSID from the available networks.
Apple iOS device: Settings-1Wi-Fi.
Choose Ryoko SSID from the available networks.
Android device: Settings Wireless controls Wi-Fi settings.
Choose SSID from the available networks.
STEP 2:
Enter the Wi-Fi key when prompted for a security key.
HINT; The Identifier is M6xx-xxx and the Password is 1234567890 This can be changed to be more secure. To access settings go to http://198.162.1.1. on your phone. The password is admin. Here you can change the ID and password, read and send SMS Messages and check on how much data you have used.
Quick Setup
- Launch the internet browser and enter http://l92.l68.l.l in the address bar. Enter the password to log in to the Ryoko device configuration page.
- Default login password: admin
- Log in and click ”Settings” to configure the basic settings.
- Wi-Fi Settings:
SSID: Set the Wi-Fi name for Ryoko device;
Security: Configure the security mode for Wi-Fi connection.
Charging the device
You have two ways to charge your device.
Charging with an adapter
(adapter must support four-wire line, or the Ryoko device won’t be charged)
Connect a USB cable to the Ryoko device and to the adapter.
Plug the adapter into a power socket to start charging.
When the device is powered off it takes a maximum of 3 hours before being
fully charged.
Charging via USB
You can also charge the device by connecting it to a PC with the USB cable.
When the device is powered off it will take a maximum of 4 hours to finish
charging.
Note: In order to protect the battery please charge the device as soon as
the low power LED indicator starts flashing
