KOOLTHERM K3 INSTALLATION GUIDE
This document is intended as a guide, and should be used in conjunction with
the detailed Installation Instructions, Handling, Storage and OH&S information
available on our website.

Kooltherm® K3 Floorboard
- Prepare a level and flat substrate, with footings dug and install the damp proof membrane
- Apply tape to joins, ensuring a fully sealed membrane
- Accurately cut to size the Kooltherm K3 Floorboard and install in loose–laid break–bonded pattern, with joins lightly butted
- Overlay insulation boards with a separation layer and 150mm overlaps
- Install reinforcement over separation layer as per engineering requirements
- When required, apply vertical Kingspan XPS Slab Edge Insulation, butt joining boards to cover the entire outer perimeter edge of the slab. For ordering purposes for each Pack of Kingspan Kooltherm K3 generally you will require 1 Pack of Kingspan XPS Slab Edge Insulation
