COUNTER PETITION TO BLOCK SAN DIEGO SALES TAX HIKE MEASURE
San Diego County voters beware! San Diego politicians have hired canvassers
to collect signatures at stores in your area on petitions to place a measure
on the November 2024 ballot. Warning: they are outright lying about what the
petition does! Their unethical canvassers are telling unsuspecting voters that
the petition is to “fix potholes.” Some are even saying it is for “public
safety” or “environmental protection.” These are all lies. The petition is
actually to approve a massive county sales tax hike! Unfortunately, many San
Diego County voters have now been misled and duped into signing the tax hike
petition under these false representations.
WHAT YOU CAN DO TO FIGHT BACK
- REMOVE YOUR SIGNATURE: If you mistakenly signed the tax hike petition, you can still remove your name from the petition by filling out and signing the attached letter and mailing back to Decline to Sign Campaign – Stop the Tax Hike, c/o Reform California, PO Box 27227, San Diego CA 92198.
- HELP OTHERS PREVENT FRAUD: We need your help in warning other voters about this deceptive petition.
