Thank you for choosing HARPER prod­ucts. Before using, read the instruction manual and save it in case of questions about the maintenance of the device.

INTENDED USE

  1. This device is intended only for dry cleaning of room and removal of dust from furniture at home.
  2. Do not pick up liquids or use on wet surfaces.
  3. Do not pick up anything that is flam­mable, burning or smoking.
  4. Use only as described in this manual.
  5. Don’t use on concrete, tarmacadam or other rough surfaces.

HOW TO USE THE PRODUCT IN STICK MODE

  • Insert the battery package into the main body in the direction guided as the photo below.

  • Connect the extension tube with the main body until you hear of the sound of “click” of the tube lock button.

  • Connect the brush with the extension tube until you hear of the sound of “click” of the brush lock button.

  • Press the switch button to turn vacuum cleaner on/off and press the speed control button to adjust the power as you need.

HOW TO USE THE PRODUCT IN HANDY MODE

Insert the accessory (Long crevice noz­zle or 2-in-1 nozzle) to the main body as showed below.

BATTERY CHARGING

  • The charge indicator displays values 1-100% on the screen depending on the battery charge level.

  • When the battery indicator is under 20% and start to flash red, the product has to be charged soon.

BATTERY CHARGING

  • Charging method One:
    The product can be charged on the stor­age wall-mount. The battery indicator will be flashing red when being charged and will be 100% when the battery is full.

  • Charging method Two:
    The battery package can be pu lled out and charged separately. Battery charg­ ing indicator will be flashing red when being charged and turn blue when the battery is full.

HOW TO EMPTY THE DUST BIN

  1. Press the tube lock button and pull the extension tube out

  2. Press the dust release button.

  3. Release the dust.

MAINTENANCE

  1. Press the dust bin lock and turn the dust bin clockwise.

  2. Take out the coarse filter housing and the HEPA filter.

  3. Clean the coarse filter and HEPA fil­ter by running water.

  4. Dry it completely under the sun be­fore the installation.

  5. Reinstall the coarse and HEPA fil­ters, then put the dust bin in place by turning it counterclockwise.

Warning: Coarse filter and HEPA filter have to be cleaned once in two weeks. The HEPA filter has to be replaced in two months if necessary.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  • Not cleaning well

    • Empty the dust bin
    • Check dust bin is correctly fitted
    • Check the filter is correctly fitted
    • Clean the filter
  • Stop or won’t work

    • Charge battery
    • Clean nozzle from debris

Personal Safety

  1. Store indoors in a dry place out of the reach of children.

This appli­ance can be used by children aged from 1 O years and above and per­sons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of ex­perience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  3. Don’t let children play with the ap­pliance; supervise children using or maintaining the appliance.
  4. Use only manufacturer’s recom­mended attachments as described in this manual; misuse or use of any accessory or attachment other than those recommended, may present a risk of personal injury.
  5. Take extra care when cleaning stairs.
  6. Keep the appliance and accesso­ries away from hot surface.
  7. Do not block the appliances openings or hinder air flow, keep openings free of any objects including dust, lint, clothing, fingers (and all parts of the body).
  8. Particularly keep hair away from openings and moving parts.

Electrical Safety

  1. Only use batteries and chargers supplied by the manufacturer.
  2. Never modify the charger in any way.
  3. The charger has been designed for a specific voltage. Always check that the mains vo ltage is the same as that stated on the rating plate.
  4. A charger that is su itable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
  5. Before use, check the charger cord for signs of damage or ageing. A damaged or entangled charger cord increases the risk of fire and electric shock.
  6. Don not abuse the charger cord.
  7. Never carry the charger by the cord.
  8. Do not pull the cord to disconnect from a socket, grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
  9. Don’t wrap power cod around the charger when storing.
  10. Keep the charger cord away from hot surfaces and sharp edges.
  11. Power cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged the charger should be discarded and replaced.
  12. Do not handle the charger or the appliance with wet hands.
  13. Do not store or charge the appliance outdoors.
  14. The charger must be removed from the socket before removing the battery, cleaning or maintaining the appliance.

Battery safety

  1. This appliance includes Li-ion batteries, do not incinerate batteries or expose to high temperatures, as they may explode.
  2. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
  3. In an emergency situation contact professional help immediate ly.
  4. Leaks from the battery cells can occur under extreme cond itions. Do not touch any liquid that leaks from the battery. If the liquid that gets on skin wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, flush them immediate ly with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery an dispose of immediately in accordance with local regulations.
  5. Shorting the battery terminals may cause burns or fire.
  6. When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small met­al objects that could make a connec­tion from one terminal to another.
  7. When you dispose of the appliance remove the battery and dispose of the battery safely in accordance with local regulations.

WARRANTY AND REPAIR

This device was manufactured and tested according to the necessary methods. The manufacturer provides a guarantee for the normal operation of the device for 12 months from the date of purchase, subject to the condi­tions specified in the warranty card of the product and the following points:

  • All defects related to defects in ma­terial and production are eliminat­ed free of charge during the war­ranty period. Complaints should be registered immediately after the defects are detected.

  • The warranty does not apply to damage caused by improper han­dling, maintenance, improper in­stallation or maintenance, with unskilled connection or installation, as well as force majeure or other external influences.

  • We reserve the right, upon receipt of a complaint, to repair or replace defective parts, or to exchange the device. The replaced parts become our property.

  • Any further claims are not possible on the basis of the guarantee. The buyer receives the right to a guar­antee on condition of presenting a correctly filled out warranty card.

    Additionally: if the device has stopped functioning correctly, before contacting the service center, we suggest first checking whether there are no other reasons for this, such as an interrupted power supply.

    • Do not use water, solvents, or polishes to clean the outside of the appliance; wipe clean with a dry cloth.
    • Never immerse the unit in water and do not clean in a dish washer
