Cleaning Mode

Automatic Total Cleaning
You can use Mobile APP or the button on the robot to enter this mode.
The machine will automatically scan the room and generate a map, and divide the map into several zones. In each zone, robot will start edge cleaning firstly and then would be planning to clean the whole area in a zig-zag path. The machine will complete the cleaning in each partition one by one, orderly and efficiently, full coverage and without omission. After completing the whole cleaning, the machine will automatically return to the charging station.

Note:
Do not move the robot casually and frequently while it is cleaning. After moving, please put the robot near the original position and then re-start it, and the robot will try to reposition itself. If positioning is successful, the robot will follow the planned path and continue to work. If the positioning failed, the robot will abort all previous mission, and then scan the room map and start a new cleaning. When it completes the cleaning it may not find the charging station.

Spot Cleaning
You can use the mobile APP to enter this mode.
The robot will take the point of its placement as the center, start an auto cleaning in a square area of 1.5m*1.5m. It will clean along the edge firstly, after the edge path is closed the robot will start a zig-zag cleaning in this area for two times with the 3rd gear suction, and finally complete a # shape path. After completion of the cleaning, the machine will automatically return to the charging station.

User-defined Area Cleaning
You can use Mobile APP to set the size and location of an area where you want to clean and custom region: region merge, region split, region name, region customization (set suction and water volume of the region), and region cleaning sequence .You can set one or more areas. The robot will clean these areas according to your set.

Local Cleaning
You can use mobile APP or remote controller or long press the button on the robot for 3s to enter this mode. The robot will take the point of its placement as the center and start an auto cleaning in a square area of 1.5m*1.5m. It will clean along the edge firstly, after the edge path is closed robot will start a zig-zag cleaning in this area for two times, and finally complete a # shape path. After completion of the cleaning, the machine will automatically return to the charging station.

Electoral District Cleaning

  • You can use the mobile APP setting to select the divided area and perform cleaning, which can support multiple selection.
  • Before using this function, you must complete a planned cleaning task, and clean the map area according to different colors.
  • After the cleaning starts, the host may enter outside the selected area. Please pay attention to clear the ground obstacles around the selected area. This area does not provide safe isolation.

Clean Exclusion Area / Virtual Wall / Floor Area
Use the mobile phone APP to set up cleaning forbidden area / virtual wall / mopping forbidden area. After the setting, the sweeping robot will not enter the forbidden area and the virtual wall isolation area during cleaning and mopping. And the set mopping forbidden area will only enter the sweeping mode after the installation of the mop bracket.

Note:

  • The machine may enter the restricted area due to wrong positioning, abnormal sensors and other reasons. The permanent restricted area fail due to large changes in the location of charging seat and furniture, so don’t try in the equipment work, moving or obvious changes in the home environment may lead to the failure of the map and the loss of the virtual wall / restricted area.
  • Use this function to open the map and edit the saved map in the APP to facilitate the next cleaning.
  • This function is only used to divide sweeping areas and is prohibited to block hazardous areas.

Carpet Cleaning Preferences

  • Carpet supercharged switch
  • Adaptive: When adjusting the carpet, automatically adjust the suction and water outlet.
  • Avoid: When the carpet is recognised, it will not clean the carpet area.
  • Ignore: While identifying the carpet, ignore the carpet area, clean the carpet and then wet the carpet.

Schedule Cleaning

  • You can schedule a cleaning task via mobile APP or remote control.
  • The robot will start a total cleaning automatically at the appointed time and return to the charging station after finishing the task.
  • Mobile APP also support suction setting, water amount setting, cleaning area setting, cycle timing setting, and cleaning times for a schedule cleaning task.

Do not Disturb Mode
During the silent time period, the sweeper will turn off the voice, close the breakpoint needs to sweep, and you can use the mobile phone APP to turn on or off the silent mode.
Note: Do not move the equipment arbitrarily and frequently at work.

Installation Steps

Special Tips

  • Please clear the scattered wire and debris on the ground before starting, and remove the easy, fragile, valuable and potentially dangerous items. Avoid personal or property damage caused by winding, getting stuck, dragging or falling down by the main engine.
  • If the product is used in suspended environments, make sure to use a strong physical barrier to prevent personal or property damage caused by an accidental fall of the host machine.

  • Connect the power cord, and then put the excess wire into the wire box.

  • Place the charging stand against a wall on a flat floor, and then connect to power.

Note:

  • Make sure there is a space of more than
  • 0.5 meters on both sides and more than
  • 1.5 meters on the front.
  • While installing, try to keep the power cord in the air; if it is close to the ground, it may be dragged by the host, causing the charging stand to lose power.
  • The charging indicator light is always on when the power is on.
  • Please keep the charging station out of direct sunlight and don’t move it around unnecessarily.

Note:

  • Direct sunlight will interfere with recharging signal and consequently the robot may be unable to return to the charging station.

Installation of the Side Brush

Make sure that the left side brush and the right side brush correspond to L and R on the bottom casing, press L and R side brushes after installation, and tighten the fixing with the screws.

Starting up or Charging
Long press the button for 3s to start up the robot.

Note:
If there is insufficient power, set the host on the charging stand and the device will turn on automatically, because the device can only work correctly when the power is at least 20%.
(as the picture shows).
The front end of the machine is facing the charging stand, so that the charging contacts on the main unit are in contact with the charging shrapnel and the distance between the front end of the machine and the charging stand is about 0 to 2cm.

Mopping Components

Install the rag: Smoothly stick the wiping cloth to the bottom of the mopping bracket.

Note: Please wash and clean the wiping cloth after each use and keep the cloth clean to ensure the cleaning effect.

Fill in the water tank: Remove the cap from the water tank’s cover and fill it with water. Fasten the cap again on the water tank cover.
Note: Please remove the dust box from the 2- in-1 water tank before filling it with water to prevent water falling into the dust box. Lift the handle of the dust box and take the dust box out of the 2-in-1 water tank. Then fill the water tank with water and fasten the lid.

Install the water tank: Put the dust box into the water tank, and put the hand flat.

Press the button in the middle of the water tank and push it horizontally along the rear part of the host machine. The water tank is installed in place when you can hear a “click” sound.

Push the mopping bracket, horizontally along the rear part of the host machine. The mopping bracket is installed in a place when you can hear a “click” sound.

Remove the water tank:

When the host completes the work, press and hold the buttons on both sides in the middle of the mop bracket. Remove the mop bracket backward, and clean the cloth (Do not move or flip the host during work).
After removing the mopping bracket, press the button in the middle of the water tank and pull out the 2-in-1 water tank horizontally along the rear part of the host machine. Remove the dust box and clean up the garbage, wash and clean its HEPA filters. Pour out the residual water in the water tank. (Do not turn over the host machine during removal)

Instructions for using water tank:

  1. When the water tank is not in use, please do not use it.
  2. When the water tank is being filled or left unused, please remove it for safety reasons.
  3. Please do not mop the carpet. The robot can be prevented from entering the carpet area by setting restricted area through APP.
  4. The mopping bracket should be installed/used after the floor has been swept three times for a better mopping effect.
  5. If you need to add water or clean the wiping cloth while the robot is working, please pause it first, then follow the preceding instructions to prevent losing the map and failing to position it.
  6. This robot’s mopping function is designed for wiping and is suitable for deep cleaning. It is unable to adequately remove stubborn stains and replace the workforce.

Instructions for Use

On/Off button

  • Long press the button for 3s until the indicator lights is steady on, the robot voice prompt “Power On”. Robot is turned on successfully.
  • While the machine is in standby state, long press the button for 3s until the indicator light turn off, robot voice prompt ” Power off” .
    Note: Robot cannot be shut down when it is in charging.

Start/Pause cleaning
After the robot turned on, short press the button on the host machine or use mobile APP to start/pause cleaning. (Press any key in APP to pause cleaning)

Note:

  • The robot vacuum cleaner cannot be used to remove liquids.
  • If the battery level is less than 15%, the robot cannot work, then please charge it.
  • The machine will return to the charging base automatically if the battery level is less than 15% in use and will be powered off and start cleaning automatically after the battery level reaches 80%.
  • Please clear various wires (including power line of charging station) on the ground before use so as to avoid outage and damage of the objects or wires when wires are dragged by the robot.

Dormancy
After more than 10 minutes without operation, the sweeping robot will automatically enter the dormant state, when the cleaning indicator light goes off. Press the cleaning button to wake up the robot.

  • The robot will not enter dormancy while charging on the charging seat.
  • The sweeping robot automatically shuts down when the dormant time is less than 5%.

Charging
Automatic Recharge:
The robot will return to the charging station automatically after completing cleaning. Manual Mode:

  1. Short press the button on the robot to start recharging.
  2. Press the home key on APP to start recharging.

Note:

  1. Orange and blue indicator light is under breathing status while charging, Indicator light will be steady on when charging is full.
  2. If the robot fails to locate the charging station, it will return to the place around original position automatically. Please put the robot back to the charging station manually.

Fault Condition
When an abnormality occurs in the operation of the sweeping robot, the cleaning key indicator light flashes slowly and gives voice prompts. See “Troubleshooting” for the solution.

  • No operation for 10 minutes, and the sweeping robot sleeps automatically.
  • The sweeping machine is charged on the charging seat, and will end the cleaning task.

Resetting WiFi
When the router changes the configuration, forgets the password or other reasons for the sweeping robot, please hold the cleaning and recharge keys at the same time until hear the voice prompt “Reset WiFi to enter the distribution network”, release the button, and wait for the button indicator orange slow flash, indicating that the sweeping robot has entered the distribution network mode.
After the robot is waiting for more than 1 hour, the WiFi function will be automatically turned off. If you want to connect again, please reset WiFi before operation.

Suction Adjustment
You can adjust the suction power to quiet level, standard level, powerful level, super level by mobile APP or remote control (standard level by default).

Water Regulation (only for 2-in-1 E-water tank)
You can regulate the water flow to lower level, middle level, high level or shut off the water by mobile APP or remote control ( middle level by default).

Silent Mode
You can open the silent mode via mobile APP, the robot will turn off its voice prompt.

Connecting to NGTeco Home App

Step 1: Download the App and Register Your Account. Search for the NGTeco Home App in Apple App Store or Google Play Store and download the App to your mobile phone. Open the NGTeco Home App and log in with your account. If you do not have an account, create an account with your phone number or Email ID.

Step 2: Adding Equipment.
Before initiating the connection, ensure that the unit is in standby mode. Press both the Home button and On button simultaneously for more than 3 seconds until the robot starts flashing and voice prompts “WiFi lost, please follow the App instruction for re-connection”. Ensure your phone is connected to the same WiFi network you wish to connect your robot to.
Open app and press “+” to add device, or use the add device button.

Firmware Upgrade
After entering the firmware upgrade function through the mobile phone APP and detecting the new firmware, follow the prompts to guide the upgrade. Firmware upgrade requires power ≥50%. It is recommended to place the device on the charging stand to upgrade.

Reset the Wifi
When the router’s configuration, password or other reasons cause the phone to fail to connect to the machine, please do the same:
Press And for 3 seconds, until hearing ”WiFi resetting” and WiFi indicator turns white and flashes quickly, indicating that the reset is successful.

Routing Maintenance

Rolling Brush (Clean it regularly)

  • Turn over the host machine and press the buckle on the main brush cover to take out the roller brush.
  • Use the configured cleaning tool to clean the dust outside the roller brush and inside the roller brush cavity, and then remove the entanglements on the roller brush.
  • Re-assemble the roller brush, and press the main brush cover tightly to fix the buckle.

Side Brush (Clean it regularly)

  • Flip the machine, remove the screws and then remove the edge brush.
  • Clean up the wound hair and dirt and pack it back.
  • Correspond the left brush (L) and right brush (R) to the letters L and R on the bottom shell, and tighten the loading tool down.
    Note: Please replace the side brush every 3 to 6 months so as to ensure the good cleaning effect.

2-in-1 Electric-controlled Water Tank (Clean it every time)

  • Remove the rag and drain the water from the tank.

  • Clean the dishcloth, dry the water tank and dishcloth, and wait for next use.

Li-ion Battery

  • The host machine is furnished with high-performance lithium-ion batteries. To maintain a good performance for battery, please keep the robot charging in the charging station.
  • If the robot is left unused for a long time, please shut down the power switch and keep it properly, and charge it at least every 3 months in order to avoid damaging batteries due to excessive discharge.

Sensor (Clean it regularly)
Please clean the sensor by soft mop:

  • Recharge sensor on the left side of the machine.
  • Six anti-drop sensors at the bottom of the machine.
  • Two line laser sensors in front of the machine and one line laser sensor on the right side of the machine.
  • Lidar sensors directly above the machine.
  • Charging contact at the bottom of the machine, charging seat and charging shrapnel (please power off before cleaning).
  • Signal transmitting area of charging base.

FAQ

Questions Solution

Can not boot

| -The battery is low, please place the device on the charging stand and align it to the charging pads, and the device will automatically turn on (when it is completely dead, it will take a while to automatically turn on)

-When the ambient temperature is lower than 0°C or higher than 40°C,

please use it in the environment of 0 to 40°C.

Can’t charge

| Please remove the device, and check whether the indicator light of the charging stand is on, to make sure that both ends of the power adapter of the charging stand are plugged in, the front of the machine is facing the charging stand, and the distance between the front of the machine and

the charging stand is about 2 cm.

Can’t recharge| The main unit is too far from the charging cradle, please try to place the main unit near the charging cradle.
Abnormal behavior| Restart
Abnormal noise when cleaning| The main brush, side brush or wheels may be entangled with foreign objects. Please clean it after stopping the machine.
Decreased cleaning ability or dust drop|

  • The dust box is full, please clean the dust box.
  • The filter is clogged, please clean or replace the filter.
  • The roller brush is entangled with foreign objects, please clean the roller brush.

Not connected to WiFi|

  • The WiFi signal is not good, please make sure that the host is in a good WiFi signal coverage area.
  • The WiFi connection is abnormal, please reset the WiFi and download the latest mobile client to try to connect again.
  • Incorrect password.
  • This sweeping robot supports 2.4G and 5G frequency band.

Reservation for cleaning does not take effect| When the battery is low, the scheduled cleaning will be started only when the remaining Battery is ≥ 20%.
The machine running out of power when it is on the charging| Power consumption is extremely low when the console is always in the charging cradle, which helps to keep the battery at peak performance.
Do you need to charge for 16 hours for the first three uses?| Lithium battery can be used and charged with no memory effect, and it can be used Immediately after being fully charged without waiting.

Troubleshoot

Fault Tone Solution
Mistake 1: Dustbin removed, please check and restart The cleaning is

triggered when the dust box is taken out, please put the dust box back in.
Mistake 2: Water tanks removed| The cleaning is triggered when the water tank is removed, please put the water tank back in.
Mistake 3: Please restart in new position| Pick up the device; or the device would be suspended in the air, please move the device to a level ground and start it again.
Mistake 4: Clean the bottom sensor and restart in new position| If the clif sensor is blocked or placed at a high place, please wipe the clif sensor window with a soft dry cloth, move the device to a flat ground and then start it again.
Mistake 5: Clean the front sensor and restart in new position| The infrared anti-collision sensor is dirty or blocked, please wipe the front infrared anti-collision sensor window with a soft dry cloth.
Mistake 6: Clean the right side ensor and restart in new position| The sensor along the wall is dirty or blocked, please wipe the sensor window along the wall with a soft dry cloth.
Mistake 7: Robot inclined, restart in level surface| The machine is tilted, please straighten up the machine, and then start the machine.
Mistake 8: Bumper may be stuck please check| The edge or collision sensor is stuck, please push the collision plate left and right to confirm that there is no stuck.
Mistake 9: Please dean the dust bin and filters| Clean the dust box and filter, or replace the filter.
Mistake 10: Dust bin out, please clean the filter gently| Clean the dust box and filter, or replace the filter.
Mistake 11: Robot blocked, restart in new position| Please move the device to a level ground and then restart.
Mistake 12: Main wheel may be stuck please check| The main wheel is stuck or entangled, please check the main wheel and clean up the foreign objects.
Mistake 13: Brush bar may be stuck, please check| The roller brush is entangled or stuck, please check the roller brush and clean up foreign objects.

Mistake 15: Charge station not found

| If the charging station is not found during recharging, or the charging station is not plugged in, please check whether the indicator light of the charging station is always on, or move the machine back to the charging station.
Mistake 16: Something went wrong, please restart| Exception caused by an unknown fault, it is recommended to restart the machine.
Mistake 17: Error, shutting down| Restart after shutdown, if it is still invalid, send it to after-sales maintenance.
Mistake18: Battery is low, please charge| Put the host on the charging stand to charge.
Mistake 19: Remove from charged station for power off| While the charging stand is charging, it cannot be turned off, please move it away from the charging stand and press and hold the power button to turn it off.
